[SPOILERS] Yossarian blames Caledorn

Mining costs 79, so they would have needed to work a tile with two coins to get it this quick. Same with The Wheel. I guess it would be possible if someone settled on Wines or worked a lake tile, but it doesn't seem too likely to me.

Alright, turns are moving right along. I'll post the report for the previous turn before I go in and move the scout for this current one. I'm going to try the screenshot tags this time, are those preferred over spoilered images?

Turn 8:

Nothing too interesting to see here. I'll probably go SE-SE with Moiraine next, then swing back up towards our second city before veering south again and looking for our neighbors.

Demos show that someone has hooked up their fish, so they went workboat-first while working a three-hammer tile (or they got lucky and were able to SIP on a plains hill). Also, at 24 GNP, Team M&M are certainly researching something with a pre-req. So what did they just finish researching? Well, there was no power increase, so that narrows the field. I think only Fishing and Myst are really possibilities, so I'll put them down for Fishing. But that doesn't seem quite right, what am I missing here?

And I keep taking a picture of the Top 5 Cities even though it doesn't really tell us anything, except I guess that Care Bears have plunged again from top city to #5.

Turn 9

Not horrible land down here, but no new food or resources of any sort uncovered. So, next turn should we veer north but get stuck on slow territory for a turn...

Or south to keep moving quickly, but then maybe have to run back north later?

Nothing too interesting in the demos. Looks like everyone has switched over to food tiles now, and we're lagging behind in GNP. Since we're researching something with a pre-req, I imagine most other teams are working riverside food resources.

Here's an overview of our uncovered lands so far:

Yukiri

Caledorn, when the worker completes, did you want me to use the next name on the list (Siuan), or should we save those for military units and use different names for workers?

I'll find a list of male names for the workers. We can use the names of Warders for them. smile

I thought you couldn't use screenshot tags because Caledorn couldn't read them on Tapatalk? Was the implementation fixed, or is Caledorn not using Tapatalk anymore?

(and if the situation is resolved, you can always come back to Gillette Caledorn--fresh eyes are always welcome, even now wink )

I think something with Tapatalk was fixed, I was hoping that included screenshot tags, but tbh I'm not sure.

The screenshot tags still doesn't work in tapatalk, so I have to go to my pc to see the screenshots :/

I would prefer we go 6-9 with the scout, even if it gets us stuck on slow territory for a few turns, just so we can get the lands around the capital mapped out, and then go south after that. It may not be the best solution though, just a personal preference.

My bad, switching back to spoilers then.

First barb of the game has appeared, a lion soutwest of SP. Our scout movements next turn are going to depend on where that guy moves next. Luckily, since I was last to end turn, we get to find out right away.

I'm thinking we go NE next turn to check out that coastline, then head south.
