Okay, I think the correct way is to play one more turn after you die. I got the save and I played Azza's turn for him, which is just clicking Continue in the loss screen. Then it went to my turn. Now everything should be OK.

Guys, I'm asking for a reload on the game. If it's granted, Serdoa would have to play his previous turn, while doing something different in his Civ. I can't fully explain the situation to anyone other than Serdoa, because it involves spoiler info (that Serdoa can have). I asked Oledavy to not open his save yet, so we can discuss this. Consulting with lurkers, I think the general opinion is that a reload would be a fair thing in this situation. Of course, since what happened hinders me, I guess my opinion is biased, so that should be taken into account. I think everyone should agree with the reload, if it's to be done, otherwise we can just play on. So, I'm asking for the input of the other players, to decide what we are going to do.

I will tentatively say yes to the reload. However, I don't really know what I'm saying yes to as you have not explained what the situation actually is, and that bothers me a little bit. Nonetheless, I trust you and Serdoa to sort things out.

I'm sorry for not explaining the situation properly, but the problem is that doing so would give massive spoilers. Just to be clear, Serdoa is not getting any additional information from this reload, nor any unfair advantage (neither I am). If you guys want, I can explain things properly, but that'd probably make even the reload useless.

The problem is that the game said something to me in the explanation, but it did a different thing in game. And this thing had major consequences in game.

I'm the other lurker, and yes the reload makes full sense IMO. The problem happened because of a misleading UI option that works totally differently than you'd think from single-player experience.

After thinking about it some more, I don't feel like playing this game further. Neither this game, nor another Civ 5 MP game for quite some time. I doubt there's anyone that can take from my postion unspoiled, so maybe it's best if I just retire to AI. I don't know, I just know that I don't want to play.
