Huge thanks Harry for the dot-mapping work. I'm still very much undecided on how the expansion should go after we have planted 5 cities. I guess those southern food resources as well as the river valley in the east will be contested. It will be difficult to get them and we would need to be fast, but I'm not a fan of settling early far away cities with high maintenance costs when they cannot be really supported etc... But of course we want them..
Let's keep thinking.. I promise to express my opinion, when I have made up my mind.. I think the site 6 that you suggested (cottage site) is in our position decent enough. IW and Calendar are really needed
Re: taking contact with mostly harmless: I think we might as well. Maybe it will give us some known-tech beakers later and to him it should look as if we are coming from the east so our contact does not necessirarily mean that he will start expanding faster towards us or something similar..
About research: I tested and we can squeeze in AH before maths and we will still able to organize our chops in an efficient way. So should we change the tech? Of course it will delay every other tech as well, but seeing horses is kind of important and my feeling is that our own land won't be good enough for winning this game and I guess we might end up performing/trying somekind of combination of coastal naval attack and knight rush in the mid-game..

Okay, didn't make contact yet, but will next turn. Should he carry on to make other contacts or head back to uncover city sites? S-SW next?

I've switched, but I'm not sure about delaying currency - it'll make us at least 5gpt or delaying IW/Calendar which will let us get two more happy and a bunch of money too. What would we use chariots for? Killing axes and mobile defense force? Our UU will do the first one quite well, but not the latter. I've ended turn, but we probably have another 12 hours before we need to switch back.

Ok! Let's stick with Maths then! (Already at work so cannot log in to change..) Horse tile yield was more or less my inspiration, but that can wait!

Okay, switched back to maths. We should really have done AH before writing for the pre-req bonus...
I think the scout should try to uncover as much of m_h as possible without putting himself at risk. Then east and north east sounds good.

I forgot the event log last turn - looks like someone got stonehenge two turns back. It must be Serdoa looking at the score jump. Pretty early? Also Judaism fell this turn, dunno who got it. Anyway we made contact with mostly_harmless and I've put all our EPs on him. I'm pretty sure this is his capital, so he'll be taking the copper and pigs fairly soon - however he'll be able to trade us incense for dye or sugar at some point...
Is he doing a lurker naming scheme?
Cannae finished the granary and has 17/22 food, so if we avoid growth we should get an extra 10 food at the expense of two commerce and a cottage turn. Unless I've missed something.
Agincourt 2-pop whipped the granary to overflow into a warrior and it's warrior is following our settler towards Dunkirk just in case. We should be the fourth team to settle the fourth city. Auspicious? BoP takes the warrior for MP and switched to a worker.
