[SPOILERS]The Tyrant realizes that once the world burns it gets really boring....

We need a naming scheme for new crossbows, and another naming scheme for catapults. And maybe another one for galleys and triremes.

Details later tonight. And photos. It's fun time!

The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...ahem.

Anyway per our earlier agreement, you now need to name two new units after me. lol

Maybe our first two blockading triremes. wink

Also, Kuro? It's clobbering time! Someone whip up one of those memes:

WAR

You're doing it wrong.

Are we in basic agreement that we probably can't win this game so we may as well have some fun? Because wiping out Kuro isn't a winning move right now. But it would be damn fun. I can understand him wanting to take a cheap swipe at us and kill a unit since we've burned one of his cities twice and captured another one and all, I just don't think it was a smart play given how much worse his military is than our (admittedly weak) force. But if we give up on economy and convert our population into a war machine, we can definitely have some fun. That means giving up on winning, though...so is it worth it? Do we have a credible enough shot at winning to NOT have a reason to have our fun? I don't see it, so I think we're free to go for blood.

The giving up on winning part is from my belief that our economy is so fried we can't recover from it in time to be relevant in any case...fail gold or not. Eating Kuro would drive up expenses even more, in addition to the cost in units it would take to go get his land, so doing that won't speed up our research or keep up with the contenders to win the game. Need more input, because I'm inclined to go destroy things for the fun of it.

Order UP: A chicken in every pot. A crossbow in every city!

Oh, and NH, I guess we won't make it to airships, that would be too obvious. What is your preference, to die (again) as a suicide catapult or be the winning crossbow that burns a city?

Going for the post count DOMINATION VICTORY: Lurkers, if you want a unit in this campaign, give me a name. I can't promise you won't die and someone has to be catapults since we do need some. lol

Let's not throw the game over a single dead unit. He made a perfectly reasonable move. He's planting a city that he can guess that we're going to crack. We've been talking about doing exactly that. Why throw the game (further) for suttree, who would likely be the ultimate beneficiary of this reckless attack? Once we've whipped down and sent our units far away, he'll have a free hand to clean us out here. I don't want to trade our hacked up jungle for tundra frostbite. Simmer down. nono

Wage a reasonable amount of war. Build a couple of triremes and pillage everything in sight. Send our galleys with a couple of xbows too. Make him concentrate his defense in his coastal cities while we just sit there and blockade, and nibble away at his far-flung ice cities. We can take the silver/marble city for sure, and probably the bronze/fish city too, if we want to be bothered. Probably the silver/marble is a better place to stop because it serves as a bottleneck. When he's done being frustrated by not being able to do anything to us, let him sue for peace. Maybe we can get some free gold. Also, maybe we can pillage him a little here and there. Again, there's no reason to throw the entire game over a dead axe. Or whatever trash unit he killed.

Well I'd obviously prefer to be the winning crossbow. lol But anyway it doesn't matter as long as the unit is used in combat and not sitting in a city somewhere. But remember, for one NH that dies two more must arise! If you want me to be a self-replicating Agent Smith that spreads through your catapults then...

Wait. You stupid fools didn't ban blockades? I mean, sure, wage a war of extermination, but unless he killed a unit and then proceeded to murder your entire family and everyone you've ever loved or could love while wearing a mask of your severed face, he certainly doesn't deserve blockades!
