Turn 34:
Not too much going on right now. I'm moving Siuan (our quechua) back up by the capital. I want to use her to unfog some of that land to our northeast. The workers are farming and chopping according to plan. Server Problems will grow next turn, and Cuzco will grow on T37. The Wheel will complete on T38 and then I guess we'll build some roads while we wait for Pottery to come in. After that we'll finally research AH.
Dinosaurs just grew their capital to size 4. They posted that interesting question about re-loading the game if their capital is razed by a barb. I wouldn't complain if they end up being our neighbor Equipe Afrique (BowAivo) finished a tech this turn. Here are the demos.
At least our food is average now, and our food-hammers will be average starting next turn. I'd say all the teams probably have BW at this point, based on the soldier numbers.
In other news, Maga quit the CFC intra-team pitboss earlier today amid some drama. Not sure how / if that might affect this game here, but something to keep an eye on.

And we've got a winner. Will re-name the city next turn (with the corrected American spelling ).

There's not much going on right now though, just early micro--in addition, we have a little war going on in the demo game right now

T35
Forgot to rename the city
We found fish! It couldn't have been used for the copper city, so it doesn't make me regret moving city 2. I think southeast-west next for the scout.
Server Problems re-grew to size 2. I'm working the mine for 4food, 4hammers total, but should I be working the unimproved sheep for 5food, 2hammers? I'll switch to the farm when it's done in two turns, and grow in 5 turns irregardless of which tile is worked.
Cuzco grows in 2 turns. Looking over the micro sheet, I realized that by holding back with the worker, I'm 1 turn behind in completing the mine for the city, which will end up delaying the next worker by 1 turn. It'll now finish on T41 with 8 overflow instead of T40 with exactly 60 foodhammers invested.
Demos and graphs (we're catching up to GG at least )

Well, there is the neighboring civ with Agg praetorians that's been ignoring us. If this radio silence continues, we really do need to start coming up with plans for our defense in case they beeline IW and go after us. Cats will obviously be important, but what else do we need? Axes, HA's, something different?

Cats and axes should do the job, if they outnumber the attackers. Shock horse archers would make you more secure though...

So is no diplo happening at all? That seems really weird for a full diplo game--do the new to RB players not realize the power of diplo?

Well, we've only met GG, and they're completely silent. You can see what I sent them farther back in the thread. It's worrying that the agg civ with prats doesn't respond to our peace overtures. Very worrying indeed.
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"

I think so, we're using the address they provided. I also messaged them in game back on T22 when we met, and then poked them again a couple turns ago. Doesn't look good
I want to settle gold as city 3, but the question is, where (note: this is an old screenshot)
Next to the gold gives us the gold and cows right away, but we have to get a border pop to get the corn. Planting next to the corn means the city comes one turn later and we need to wait for border pops for cows and gold, but we get the corn right away and it adds the dye into the city's borders. We'll have it connected by road the turn it settles, either way.
I've adjusted our micro plan a bit.
And I spent some time looking at the power numbers. Here's the spreadsheet I'm keeping. This is definitely not 100% correct because our ranking doesn't always line-up with the power numbers here. The best, average and worst is correct though, so it's a decent picture of how things are looking.
