Go ahead Noble and offer it, its fine for me. I just was opportunist - probably shouldn't have been in the first place tbh.

I also agree with your points re:Slowcheetah.

Okay I offered the cease fire. As you can (barely) see from the screenshot, I also moved the vulture south out of Julia because the barb warrior is approaching. Next turn we can move onto the forest so that the tile doesn't get blocked and we can still work it at size 3. We don't need to attack the warrior, it'll either attack us, go away, or try to go around us at which point we can attack it when it gets to the open grassland next to the city.

Also, I agree with opportunistic attacks in general, it's just that this time we needed the trade route for the resource. lol I wouldn't have realized it either before we attacked though.

We might unlock an alternative route to Sian soon if we can defog enough of the territory between him and yurimack, depending on how much empty land there is.

Yeah. Was still dumb to do it, 65%+ is not really that good to try it. With a 3rd chariot in reach it would have made more sense, making it relatively certain that we would win and be able to kill the 2 workers as well. I just hoped that the statistically failing attack would have been the one of the theoretical 3rd chariot. :/

Well we had a 44.85% chance to kill two workers and two axes, that's not a bad shot by any means. It's just unfortunate (somewhat) that nobody else has defogged a route to us for trading. lol

So one thing I forgot to mention is that when we met slowcheetah I checked the wonder list and he pretty much has all the missing wonders. He's got MoM, GLib, Paya and even Parthenon. I must have missed all those being built, maybe it was during my flight and a couple days after that. So, he must have marble and we could potentially get it from him once we get a (non-transient) trade route again. lol

He's also top land, the only person with more land than us - owning over 10% of the world's land tiles. I'm pretty sure we still have a larger empire though given how much water we have.

I'm actually glad that he has those and not yurimack. Paya especially was only built currently and that were either wasted hammers (if his economy is as good as ours he should have nearly all of the religious civics by now) or he is behind us in research. MoM and GLib is annoying. I wonder if he is close enough and his cities water-bound that we can raze them. Probably not.

And Parthenon - well, makes sense with MoM of course.

Okay, apparently building the AP does require state religion in the city. Not sure how I forgot about that since it shows up in the 'pedia.

I also changed our EP spending earlier to be 1:1 slowcheetah:BaII with no spending on anyone else. Right now BaII needs about 137 EP to get research visibility on us, and he has 127 and seems to have stopped spending. So we should be fine, but should keep spending for a while.
