Sorry guys - after checking the first few days, i didnt think the last match was happening. Also have been super busy IRL and lost my mobile connection to my email here.
If we start another, I'll be up for it. I'm about to become a chess coach. I'm coaching a team for a primary+middle school (ages 8-12 likely). I have a month to prep - so I'm trying to get materials together. Anyone with experience in this area? My biggest fear is I might have been too successful in recruiting - having 15 people for 5 spots might be troublesome. last invis move problem: edit: Dont click that , its a horribly wrong solution

If you have a laptop and a video projector avialable there is a nice software series by Chessbase which is named "Fritz and Chesster": http://chessbase-shop.com/en/products/fr...d_chesster You can check customer reviews at amazon as well. The German chess federation has an official curriculum/book for kids who learn to play chess and if they pass certain tests they are awarded the "Pawn diploma", then the "Rook diploma" and finally the "King's diploma". You might check your chess federation for something similar.

Well just have them play some games with each other to start so you can gauge them.

I actually am the coach of the B team. The main coach is taking the A team (mainly 12-14 year olds)
The league is a frienship league, but they do have playoffs at end of a short season. 12 boards per match, 2 games each. Players can be swapped out between games. Only top 5 are scored.... so most teams bring just over that. Thanks for the tips guys - ill be doing some searching for sure.
