Something came up IRL, which means I have to go afk until Saturday night (European time).
I have queued up orders for next turn (T94), but I would like to log into turn T95. So please pause the game end of T95 if I have not played by then. Should at maximum only create a few hours delay.

No need to pause for me, I will take the turn within a couple of hours, unfortunate rolling time.

I'm on project submission tonight, not sure when I will be released, please pause if I haven't played by the time an hour is left.

Trapped on diplo yet again, is hard to be so popular

I tried, but I bounced. If you log out I can unpause (which I think is a word, but Microsoft doesn't seem to agree).
Edit: Third time lucky it seems. Unpaused.

Also how I exit the game while stuck in a diplo screen? Alt+ F4?

just end task on civ from the task manager (alt-ctrl-del).
Did you open up a diplo screen on yourself after pausing it?
thats easy to fix, just close civ (from the task manager) then reopen it, the diplo screen should be gone.
