WTF.... Are they really both logging in and trying to cancel each others' moves?!
Also, Plako is some kind of Nostradamus about this team.
That would mean he posted his prediction now, and it only looks like he posted it before the fact

The Care Bears seem close to officially PB4 Parkining this game! The NAPs are just getting longer and they're just pumping settlers and cottages to the end?

That's why I don't play games with full diplo: NAPs along are enough to make it a completely different game from "normal" civ.
(I don't really follow this game, only read lurker's thread sometimes.)

Holy Schamoley. I dared to peek at the "Story Thread". It is perhaps the most unutterably baleful thing to appear on RB, and I participated in PB 3. 4Chan has higher standards. Oh God I can't stop bleeding FUCK

Reasoning behind the no reload desicion: occurence was normal miscommunication that can occur in full diplo games. Both involved parties are to blame and reload would be potentially harmful to other team not involved in the incident.

I guess plako has to stay neutral and objective in tone but to even imagine a reload for unknowingly breaking an agreement in email here is absolutely insane.

Yeah, I was interested in finding out what the reload was about and was surprised it was just a settlement violation. OxySut, just burn the damn thing down and be done with it if you don't like the city or the agreement violation (intentional or not).

Wait, did suttree actually send this:
Quote:Please contact us immediately. Your city blatantly violates our NAP/settling agreement, which would be fine if I thought it were intentional. It's a shit city settled for no purpose, though, so I'm guessing you just have an idiot sub playing out the turns. I can't speak for Oxy, but let me know what's going on so I can decide whether to continue playing the game.
As a diplomatic message?
I dare not more than scratch the surface of any of these threads, but much of what I have seen reminds me of PB 3; the weirdly intense & regrettable diplomacy, the endemic intrateam drama, the life-sucking clusterfuck of terrible game settings. One of the players stated that RB is a couple years ahead Civfanatics in terms of operating Civ IV MP matches, which sounds about right on the money.

I interpreted that as some kind of satire, but then I thought requesting a reload for breaking / forgetting a detail of an email agreement made by a former player wasn't serious either.

All I can conclude is that playing in a full diplo game just warps minds or something.

Well, obviously suttree's reload request was ridiculous. But I think the key takeaway from this game is how a diplo game causes threads to be diplo, diplo, and more diplo. Look at Yossadorn's thread and then compare it with Gaspar's thread in 14...
