Me and Wetbandit rush to enter the game it was funny. This should delay Wetbandit GA for at least another 5-7 turns.
Problem is that Wetbandit may get angry at me an declare war, this would be troublesome but he doenst have a lot of military plus the military he has is probably in his main land. Me on the other hand I have 15 redcoats plus frigates to defend my islands plus the islands are start to become strong independent cities who could build their own defenses.

Anyway WillianLP has gone the democracy path, he is in his third golden age I think his GA would end in four more turns. HE is competitive in GNP for now I want to see where he stand after his GA finish.
Wetbandit and I have and advantage over him now the we can build airships, he doesn't even research SM yet. He does have a lot of military lately he has been drafting and whipping and his power has raised a lot next turn he would be number 1 in power.
I not sure if his preparing to invade me I have 18 frigates + 13 galleons in the islands that I took from Boldy. He doesn't have Ship of the line nor Ironclad so I guess I'm fine for now this next turn I'll build some airships to have more map knowledge over him.

Another thing is that everyone has put a lot of EP on my so it has been hard to avoid city visibility on me. Especially seems some of Boldy ex-cities have the religion of WillianLP. I have bite the bullet and build some Intelligence agencies. This would help me to deny more info to WillianLP and Wetbandit.

I have ignore Spiral because I keep thinking the game won't last long enough for the Wonder to be worth it, plus I have been razing Wetbandit to other important things (Kremlin, Physics) Maybe I could have researched Divine instead of steel I just couldn't find the time to squeeze Divine Right in the tech path.

For example now I need Steam power, to speed up the development of new cities, and more important ironclands to defend from WillianLP.

After that will see, probably assembly line though researching corporation is going to hurt (I obsolete the GLH) or I could go for artillery and have a real war with Boldy just for the fun smoke

Some pictures.

Red Circle:
2 frigates 4 galleons full of redcoats
Blue Circle:
1 Galleons full of redcoats
Orange circle:
1 Galleon with 2 settlers and 1 worker.

Plus you can see cities that already have redcoats. Higo higienico have 1 redcoat and 1 longbow for defenders.
You can also see a city named London. This make me sad shakehead

Red Circle 5 frigates.

I have so little time for the forum lately shakehead
Anyway this is a picture of the demos before the GA, keep in mind WillianLP is in a GA.

Next turn I would have overtaken him in MFG, since I have 12 cities growing 8 of then into workshops.

Here demos after I start my GA.

I'm third on land. Yes this mean that I have more land than wetbandit or Boldy despite the huge amount of water tiles.
I have micro, though I admit sub optimal and in ten turns I should have 27 factories and 23 coal plants.
I have 40% odds for a GE in 4t.
Wetbandit is going the democracy line the same as WillianLP. This is good, if either of then would have gone the combustion line then I probably would have been force to do the same.

Taking the Kremlin means that I would keep outproducing Wetbandit, you could see when WillianLP start his Golden Age.

I'm at 40 cities now there are still another 4 easy spots after that there are more land but it would be too difficult to settle without going to war.

His name is WilliamLP by the way, not WillianLP.

Well I did promise a ranking so what the hell here it is.

1. Retep doctor in spanglish.
How this happened? This guy still suck.

2. Wetbandit.
Well Wetbandit has the most beaker output, he can research at least 100-150 more beakers than me at break-even. The good news is that he doesn't have much room to expand anymore so the only way to improve is trough infra. He doesn't have much production, most likely half my production right now probably a third since I'm in a golden age. This is why taking the kremlim was so good now he can't compete with me in production.
I'm still ahead of him in beakers around 8k-9k beakers which is 2 or 3 techs only but this is okay I still have space to expand and I whit more hammers I can't hold me empire of any attack.
I think his chance to attack WiliamLP had past now and Molach although small is still at tech parity military speaking so he would have a hard time taking land from his neighbors. I'm to far way to be a target, yes he could attack me but reinforcements would take to long for his side to actually hold more than one city maybe two.
He still could lunch another golden age, to be honest I don't know why he hasn't do it yet. Maybe he has bad luck with his GP? He did got two Great Engineer (which he hasn't use yet) or maybe he is waiting for democracy to make his last swap of civics.
The best thing he can do is attacking Molach after all without more land he won't be able to win and attacking WilliamLP would cost him far to much.
He could keep doing the same as now, waiting. This is pretty much what we all are doing waiting for the someone else to make the first move (start a war).

3. WilliamLP.
WilliamLP is about to finish his last golden age in another 4 turns. He is competitive in GNP but only because he is in a GA when it finish he would slow in his research. He has a lot of land but his biggest mistake is that he hasn't expand to the islands fast enough, hell he has expand very litte very slow. I think part of this is his failure to finish Kuro. Waht it looks (at least for my perspective) like a very easy task had taken a lot for him. I not sure what was the problem though maybe he underestimate the fact that defenders always have the advantage, maybe he didn't bring enough units thinking it would be a easy victory, or maybe Kuro is a genius startegist that defend his empire of ice.
Anyway he has a lot of ships there was a small window(10-13 turns) when he could attack me at the boldy former islands and I would have to retrieve but he didn't take his chance. Now we are kinda in a cold war over there showing more and more ships every turn, though now that I have a couple of aisrrhips I have a slight advantage).
Hes research path has been weird, he hasn't beeline anything just research everything, this make me think he doesn't know what to do to win. Attack, tech, culture victory (he hasn't research SM yet) he is lost and this is good for me, this is mostly what has put him put of the raze for victory.
Expanding toward the islands while researching communism is what he should be doing right now. Finishg Kuro that doesn't realy matter anymore since he only has one good city left. Still he has lets beakers output than wetbandit and less MFG than me so is going to be hard for him. I think that WilliamLP roll is to make someone win, me or Wetbandit who knows.

4. Molach.
Yeah Molach before Boldy, why? Because Molach has an actually economy. He is behind in everything and is smaller than the other 3 big powers but he has tech parity with wetbandit (except for airships) he is playing a defensive roll to avoid that wetbandit eat this empire at win the game, and for that I'm grateful. He could very easily kill Oxy if he wasn't for Wetbandit. Oh poor Molach, he has one more GA to keep up after that he is going to get behind fast I wonder what would happen with him.

5. Boldy/Xenu
Well I fell bad for this guys, I know they most hate me a little bit but what could I do, I want to win and was necesary for me to attack them and make them whip to the ground and destroy his economy. If I let then get anywhere near astronomy I would have been scrub. Now they can research but very slowly but the time they can get to astronomy I should have enough power/techs advantage to defend and kill then. They can recover his economy at this point they could end this game foour depending on what happen with Molach.

6.Suttree
Completely gone of this game I think. He is a great trade partner though, I still angry for the whole declaration of war and gift cities but oh well. He could kill Oxy eventually depending of how long this game goes.

7. Oxyphenbutazone.
Really behind in everything I think he still defending with horse arches and cats so yeah if it wasn't because heis neighbours ( Molach Suttree) had other worries in his borders he would be out of the game by now.

8. Kuro.
He has survived to attack of WilliamLP I didn't think he would that was very surprinsing apart from that I think he has a very good chance to last until the end of the game, there is no a real reason why WilliamLP would need to destroy him apart from spite for the failure campaigns.
I don't mind either way Kuro play fast and never hold the turn, you know I actually kinda want him to survive.

Yay, caught up on my lurking. Way to go retep, good game played so far.
Would you say being separated by water from the other teams has been more of a help or a hindrance for you?

Thanks Pindicator.

To be honest I don't know. Being isolated is always good since you can expand without building to much military, the problem is that I didn't have good places where to expand. If I had to build military early instead of infra then I don't think I would have any chances of winning by now.
On the other hand If there was a land bridge connecting me to Boldy I though of a plan to bulb to guilds and attacking him with 30 knights 15 turns before he got longbows.
So in conclusion, given the lack of good land at my disposal I think that being isolated balanced things to give me a chance to win.
