The skill/effort disparities in this game are huge. ~T90 you should have units that have better than 70% odds against barb warriors. Based on score also Aivoturso/Bowsling team is struggling, but they haven't had proper status update for a long time.

This is so classic new MP player. BUT I LIKE DIPLO!!! I mean, I miss the making friends portion of it, but nobody actually wants any part of the broken dreams and misery full diplo ends up actually being.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

I don't know if anyone is trying to follow this actual game, but I'm pretty interested if OxySutt could be correct in thinking that they are poised to start running away with a tech lead. If so, and they get a winning position from it, it would be an amazing example of building a lead in a way that allows them to fly under the radar when doing so. (I.e. the exact opposite of what Team RB did in the inter-site demo game.)

Well it hasn't been OxySut's plan i.e. it is just pure luck there are Rome and India taking the heat out from them for different reasons. Nevertheless they seem to have best civ skills of the group and their economic strength will soon be evident to other teams. In theory getting favourable diplo deals should get harder for them. In diplo games it is never that simple though.
And this wouldn't be a diplo game without some serious Drama. Few teams are pretty convinced that Asterix is Maga.

Well it seems pretty evident that Asterix=Maga. There are also accusations that Asterix rules the Rome (Eggheads). As far as I can see that seems unlikely.

Would be kind of wild if it was true, though. Fraud alert!

The weird issue about running diplo for Rome through three-way conversations with Asterix seems like just the sort of thing one would not do if he (/she?) were running sock puppet civs.

Is it me or would Halvgud/CH have been much better siting Pinhead (copper city near the barb one they razed) 1W on the coast. Not only would this have allowed 3f lake tiles, but it would have allowed a second city on the East coast using both pig and corn.
