So how's things coming along? Haven't heard anything since the infamous worker swipe. Any new cities and future plans?

I planned to make another update when I got my third city out...and the lack of updating should tell you how that is going
I have three workers and will complete a barracks in my cap next turn. Then a settler will complete in about 5 turns.
I have iron working due in 3, I know I have horses in a spot I can settle in if I want, and I may have feudalism in 4 in Broker lands Oracle. Whether or not I'll be able to expand and try to catch up will depend on whether or not I have longbows, or failing that, iron.

I hear war is afoot between Krill and the Lins. What are your thoughts about how a) the conflict itself fares, b) what your plans are for it, and c) negotiations for ending said conflict with He Who Poached Thy Worker?

As you guys probably know, the alliances are shaking up. I am defecting, partially against my better judgment, because of my close relations to regoarrarr.
I plan to announce this next turn, 1 full turn after regoarrarr does. My biggest fear is that either Krill will violate our NAP or that the Lins, Broker, or Elkad will declare on me. My hope is that the dozens of turns I've supplied ZPV/Elkad with horses and gold, and the units I gave the Lins for their war will at least influence them to give me an NAP for 10+ turns. I'd love to play Switzerland and run 0% gold and try to not be noticed much, but I'm switching my cities over to hammer tiles as fast as possible since my current army is 1 elephant

As you guys probably know, Dreylin and Broker decided to switch to the new alliance. I like Dreylin and Broker a lot, but they've convinced themselves there is a conspiracy to exclude them that doesn't exist. Regoarrarr and I lobbied for their inclusion in our new bloc as much as we could, and invited them in the moment we had approval.
Instead they have given Gunpowder to Yaz, despite their past war. Yaz/Krill, who has played aggressively to the point of obnoxiousness, never respected anything other than brute force, and been their sworn enemy for most of the game. How they think it helps them to allow Yaz to win the game is beyond me...

Well you did decide to sell out your long-term ally Elkad, so you certainly have no claim to the moral high ground. And if you sell Elkad out now then it's surely only a matter of time before someone else goes the same way...

I am currently attempting to negotiate a "cash for peace" deal with Dreylin, offering him gold in exchange for an NAP.
I have made my initial offer 50 gold per turn with two conditions:
*I am allowed to delay payment for an amount of turns to be agreed upon if I pay him interest
*I receive some sort of counter-concession from Elkad in exchange for the rice, dyes and horse I am supplying him with
Dreylin is hesitant to agree, citing a desire to keep me from optimizing my supply of gold (up to 266/turn) to my new allies. I pointed out how him getting gold from me was a much better way to do that than burning border cities that actually lower my gold per turn.
Dreylin however is probably unaware that I know he has five units in the fog threatening my new southern border city. On the other hand he was also unaware of my resource gifts to Elkad and my enthusiastic cooperation with my NAP with Yaz as it related to keeping Regoarrarr's units from traveling through my lands, so my fingers are crossed.

Elkad was an ally of only a few dozen turns though. ZPV was an ally, not necessarily his sub. I should note that:
*I have supplied Elkad with a health, happy, and strategic resource without any sort of payment since he took over in the game.
*Elkad has never, not once, directly answered my emails or Gchat messages.
*I supplied him with gold for many turns and did not in return ask for Nationalism before I switched sides.
*I have made no militarily threatening moves to Elkad at all, and will continue to not do so.
*Finally, had Regoarrarr not decided to take the fight (quite well so far) to Krill/Yaz, Elkad would have likely lost several cities by now. I (incorrectly so far) viewed his war as a lost cuase.
