Little Red Riding Hood is back from her vacation at Grandma's and ready to crack some more skulls this Thursday

Now that we're approaching the end of Hell, are we still planning on going through in hostile mode for the 4th dot? Personally I would be happy to stop at the end of Hell -- it's getting slow enough already even without having to worry about friendly fire.
If we do go on, I will have to request a change of days, Monday is no longer a good day for me. Maybe we could drop to just playing on Thursdays but aim for a longer session?

I would also be in favor of stopping at the end of Hell. It's been a fun, wild ride, but I've already put some stuff off due to time constraints from this endeavor.

Our pace has certainly gotten a lot slower.
I will have to think about it. If some guys want to continue, I might consider pressing on with a smaller team. One advantage of this variant over all others is that the rogues are more interchangeable.
Our magic turned out to be more crucial than I hoped when I started out. It is a bit depressing watching my clvl 5 frozen orb, plus mastery and synergy with ice bolt, doing more damage to most monsters than three or four bows combined. On the four-dot run, I'd either have to not use it, or run off solo to use it. Well, running off solo was never the idea, so the four dot run itself may not be viable all the way through.
On the other hand, we -would- be going back to Act 1, and we'll have more levels, items, resists, etc than when we started. I am probably going to want to try the hostiled concept with whomever is still left, and not make a final decision on whether to stop until I've figured out whether or not we're having fun at that point. I will understand if some of you have had your fill of Endless Arrows, though.

I think the time has come for me to officially drop out of the effort. Back in February, I couldn't see anything popping up that would get in the way of a regular schedule of gaming. I suppose that's just an invitation for Life to throw too many opportunities your way to ignore (I've settled on starting a new web design business with a friend). Now, I can't see a time in the future when things will be calming down enough for me to participate again, without the schedule changing to involve a weekend slot.
If the team is interested in having someone take my place, I would be happy to pass ArtemisRed on to someone else. Just let me know. Good luck in the hunt for Baal,
Erick.

Erick, it was certainly fun having you around for a while, and the extra freezing power was a godsend in much of Hell Act Two. It's probably a little late for someone to pick up the account for Artemis_Red, but there's always the chance that we'll have a taker.
Regarding the 4-dotting issue... I have no problem with continuing on into Friendly Fire mode (we have to try it for at least one night, for pure humor value) but I'm a little leery of the thought of clearing all of Hell difficulty yet again (and where we won't be able to share portals!) Rogue Revival has also been running two nights per week, every week, with almost no breaks since October of last year. It's been an incredible run, but nine months is a long time too. At some point, I hope there will be time to try out the Druid variant that Sirian propsed months ago as well( http://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?t=218).
In any case, we'll cross this bridge when we come to it. Still quite a few monsters to kill before finishing Act Five.

I'd like to give the friendly fire a go for a night or two at least, just for the hell of it and to enjoy the carnage that is sure to ensue.
The thought of an entire game run in FF mode is daunting, to say the least...

I apologize for leaving abruptly during last night's game, but it was not by choice - the power went out again. The thunderstorm that had already passed over the house evidently fried a transformer up north of us - power was off and on all night.
So how far did you guys get? Did you stop at the Halls of Pain WP, or did you recklessly go after Nilly?
Cheers,
Hawkmoon

We stopped at the Halls of Pain waypoint, but at least we now have a full-clear (or very close to it) in the Halls of Anguish and Pain. If we're lucky, we may get through two quests next time.
