[SPOILERS] By the Rivers of Babylon, FIN has no effect (on krovice)

We were right about dtay.

I messed up with the scout. Sorry, Krill.

Turn 13. Mardoc has adopted Buddhism. The panther didn't attack... I thought it had gone chasing somebody else's scout but no...

I really hope we survive this attack.

So maybe we put the chop that's going to the second worker through a warrior build, delaying the second worker by one turn and delaying the settler until eot34. That lets us settle a city towards dtay guarded by two warriors. Say, on the plains hill west of the sugar. Both rice are second ring but if we were to settle for them first ring, it would a) be too far away to defend, b) be too aggressive (dtay won't accept us stealing his gold), and c) by the time the workers are ready to improve the rice we're almost at 10 culture anyway. And d) the plains hill plant compensates anyway.

If our scout is killed our first warrior will have time to pick up the two huts close to our capital.

Of course we need to see where copper is placed before we can make any real plans.

Turn 14. Someone founded Hinduism. Our scout was indeed killed by the panther, it had 21.3% odds after all. Dtay's pigs are already improved, which I guess means he has a plains hill start and built a 10 turn worker. This is going to be a challenge.

Screenshots from turn 14.

Turn 15. We met Whosit, he stole our western hut with an injured Woodsman II scout. He's Hammurabi (AGG/ORG) of the Vikings, the very best combo drawn for this map.

Mardoc's buddhist capital is size 2 for some turns now.

We have 20EPs on dtay - I figure we'll grab his graphs and then switch to Whosit.

Any opinions/analysis on the two players you've met thus far?
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.

I'm not really too familiar with either player. I've seen Whosit play in PB2 of course, but that was ages ago. From what I've heard dtay is pretty competent. They're certainly not human goody huts, and they both have strong leaders, so there's every reason to take them both seriously.

Turn 16
Cheater Hater (Bismarck, Exp/Ind, of Zululand) joins the party.

Whosit and CH both spent 2EPs on us last turn, so they may have forgotten to manage their EP spending.

Sucks but thats why you never leave scouts on flatland tiles. Especially if huts are on. I'll be home after midnight so I'll look at the sim tomorrow whilst watching every LCS match since last Saturday. And catching up on PB13.
