I Am America and So Can You! (Kuro/Whosit Spoiler Thread)

I have three Workers in forests right now and two more coming in 1-2 turns, IIRC (I don't remember if the one I pulled from around Boston gets to it's forest in 1T or 2T). Or in other words, I am not sure all 5 Forest Chops would be finished until T82-T83, I believe. There are three in forests right now, including one who is pre-chopping it's forest already. I'll make sure to remember to focus EP on the Inca. I put 98 hammers into it already, yes. If the Workers come in 2T, we could proceed to do Forge whipping to make up for lost time or to do stuff with the time? Or if it comes to 31 with modifiers pre-forge, we could just put some turns into it straight up instead, since I doubt anyone will beat us so it isn't a waste is it?

If nothing else, it definitely looks like Plan Hagia is a go.

I think in this case we might just want to target EoT82. The Forge whip actually does not provide a lot of overflow. It's just that when I was originally putting the plan together and assumed we'd be starting cold, it provided just enough extra hammers to tip the balance. I think we're probably better off putting base hammers into the Forge for now and just swapping to the HS to absorb chops. The city isn't producing enough hammers now for the wonder to complete when those 3 chops come in. Speaking of, make sure that the chop in progress does not complete before the Confu spread.

Understood.

On a completely unrelated note, because I'm bored and like posting, what about OPERATION WEED as an alternate battle plan? See, we just make a ton of galleys, load all of our units onto them, and sail around the WHOLE CONTINENT and attack France.

No way that doesn't work out in our favor! lol

Hell, we're basically the only ones posting anything.

Well, hey, who needs logistics when you have BURNING AMERICAN PASSION? lol

I bet they're not posting anything because their free speech is being repressed. You know, not being American and all.

Can confirm free speech oppression.

Free speech oppression confirmed! I'll hold off on playing the turn until you take a look at the save Whosit, since you said you wished to do so.

Looking at save. Good news: We're gonna get the G. Library.

Bad news: Ruff completed the Hagia Sophia! Somehow I missed that he has Marble as well! We'll need a new plan, but it's probably not a massive loss. We'd rather have Great Library that Hagia Sophia, but it would have been nice to have, too. This also means that we won't have anything to bolster New York's culture, so we might end up losing some tiles there unless we end up putting a Monastery or something there.

I'd love to move that axe to get vision on Nubian, and I'd also like to move something to scout out that Commodore city south of Seattle that we don't have any vision on.

Probably going to be ~8 turns to Civil Service since we have to save up gold (I guess we'll get some fail gold, bleh). Want those EPs on the Inca....

Where do you think we want the Heroic Epic?

We do have a good number of Workers now. I think we want some more infrastructure in cities, but if we build units... what should they be? Catapults are good, but I think that's more defensive. We still have that Jewish Missionary to delete unless you want to do something with it. Library in Boston would be good. Not sure if any other city really needs one.

You can probably go ahead and play unless there's any big project you want to plan for now.

Hmmm. Probably not, unless you feel there is any wonder we should do in New York since we have units around there from Plan Sophia? I'll look inside the game to talk about the Heroic Epic and stuff shortly.

I don't think we really have any other Wonders that are immediately available, so just get Forges in our hammer towns.
