Penalties from shootouts don't count for goals statistics for either players or teams, so they probably shouldn't for this competition.

I agree they probably shouldn't, but it was explicitly stated that they do in the OP, so predictions should take them into account.

And here I was thinking that I would have to drop all RB people from my Christmas card list!
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Glad to see some more predictions flowing in now.

But please can people post new replies with their predictions rather than editing them in later, it makes it a lot easier for me to track changes, plus for the days that I may not be around at the deadline, I can then have the forum post clock be my guide for late predictions

Well unless TT is manually going to count every single penalty scored (though, there probably won't be too many shootouts) I don't see how this is going to happen, because official tallies will only count those scored in normal play.

For that I should really change my prediction to 32-0 in favour of the Chileanos.

Luckily for us all, that's what I plan to do. Its not really much of an investment on my part.

I wanted to do it in a way that makes it a bit more random and create a greater spread of possible answers.
