OK, I lied. I also just played the new turn. Snapped some pics, but I'm feeling too tired to put it up. Main news is that I revolted to Bureaucracy. Ruff has a ton of stuff in his border city. We're catching up in power to Ruff, but Com's power is still exploding upwards. We're also dead last in technology, missing several key military techs that our neighbors have. We're in a pretty shitty position and are probably going to eventually get rolled over by someone, but it's a matter of when. Ruff has a chariot scouting us and sees our forces at the Rally point, but hopefully he thinks it's due to us being nervous about Com's recent "war" against us.
Kuro, any idea when you'll be able to take the reigns again?

Big turn. Com and Hashoosh both declared on Ruff, so I guess Com set some timing up with Ruff as well. I did not declare war, mainly because I had neglected to position our forces correctly. Things are now in place to declare next turn, but honestly, it's probably better for us to wait. Ruff lost two cities, one to each aggressor, and moved his big stack out of his border town with us, but it's still in range to defend or hit our own stack when it moves in, so hopefully he and Com will fight a bit more. Com has a portion of a stack in Ruff's territory and it's injured, so we'll see.
I shifted some tiles around in cities to get as many cottages worked as we could. Also, we lost a SECOND missionary in Colorado, so whatever, no Confucianism there. Stupid RNG. Oh, and Hashoosh had sent a deal: Spices, Fish, and 20 gold for our Marble. Pretty sure he's teching liberalism based on his techs known, so my guess is he wants to secure a source of Marble for the Taj. I declined. Only other source of Marble is in Ruffland, but Com is most likely going to secure that.
I have pictures, but I'll wait to post whatever's most relevant until Kuro checks in again.

We're looking at me leading the charge in a MP war, and I don't think anyone wants that, except the enemies of FREEDOM.

Played turn 88. War is beginning. Ruff, if/when you read this, my apologies. Nothing personal, we just have to take what chance we can to carve you up before Commodore gets you. No fun being dog piled, I'm sure.
Workers are building plains farms everywhere. The swordsman galley was sent forth and burned that coastal town of Ruff's. First Sword died at 20% odds, but did a lot of damage. Second sword killed archer and burned city at 95% odds. I left the sword there, because I forgot to delete him. The War Elephant adjacent to the city will probably clean him up. Oh well.
Moved our pitiful stack into Ruff territory next to his border city with us. Realized two wonders are just sitting in there. Ruff's stack is too far away to hit our stack on his next turn (I did some final Open Border scouting before I declared), but he can certainly reinforce, and can threaten Colorado. Oh well. Colorado just finished Walls and has 5-6 Archers stuffed into it, so maybe it can hold for a turn or two. Com still has his stack wandering around Ruff's territory, but I can only wonder how long he'll keep the war up. Now that we declared, I wonder if he'll take peace to hang the rest of us out to dry.
BTW, our stack only has, like, 3 catapults in it and the city has 60% defenses. I wish we had had time to get more, but oh well. I think there's a good chance our stack gets wiped out in a turn or two. I'm not sure if it's better to just suicide cats and units in at the 60% defense, because I know the more time we take to bombard the city, the more time they have to reinforce and counter-attack.

It's been 10 days since Kuro has last logged on, so I think I'm stuck with running this game. Not... exactly what I had been planning.
Not a good turn for AMERICA. The spy heading into Com's land to get view of that last city gets CAUGHT a tile away, and basically the first turn after entering his territory. That spy has spent 10 turns wandering through Inca land just fine, but then he gets caught right at the end. Of course, my friggin' luck.
Ruff reinforces his border city with his stack. Either Com backed off, or Ruff just has a lot of stuff, although he and we have similar power ratings. I foolishly threw 3 catapults away and gave Ruff a GG. They dealt a little damage, but nowhere near enough to give odds to anything else in our stack. I back off, but there's a good chance he could raze our own city next turn if he feels like it. He only had 2 cats himself, though, but Colorado only has Archers inside. I did give it walls. We'll see. We're down to 3 catapults in our whole army. We need like 30. I doubt we'll get the chance.

Ruff offered blank peace. I declined. There was no counter attack, thankfully, but he'll have Guilds (and Knights) next turn. We're two turns away from Feudalism and even starting to get Longbows. Workers are running out of things to do.
Scout in France saw another concentration of Ruff troops on that side. I think it would be a good idea to stay at war until someone else makes peace, or until we have an army of knights knocking on our door. Trying to get some more catapults out, but we don't have an awful lot of production.

What happens if I become someone's vassal in an MP game? I'm tempted to offer someone for the lols.
In the meantime, I offered Ruff 200 gold for peace, because I don't think I'm taking Nubian, sadly, and I have the funniest feeling that the Inca plan to attack me. That gold can let me get Guilds. So.

My position sucks. Last in power, even behind Ruff who was fighting against 3 opponents and lost several cities. Pretty sure Com and what's-his-face-inca are planning to attack me soon. Inca will have Cuirassiers. We have Knights now, I'm going for cannons. Maybe bad choice vs Cuirs, but on the defense might be OK.

Is the game still going? I'm dying to find out what happened to AMERICA.

The game is still going, but with a total lack of enthusiasm from me.
AMERICA has basically been dying a slow, painful death (just like in real life!). Shitty economy, few cities, not much land, and a tiny power rating that keeps falling further behind. I've got a dozen workers just sitting in the capital because there is NOTHING for them to do anymore.
