T139 Report:
Wow, it's been a while--let's see what's going on:

Surprisingly, I actually got Florem back! Of course, this makes me wish I would have asked for more--I didn't ask for Mythril Mines back since I assumed Twinkletoes was going to take it, but I honestly think I could have asked for both that and possibly No Mas as well, and AT might have accepted it (or given me a counter-offer with two cities). We also have the weird situation of a grassland mine of...nothing (probably Coal). Of course, now I'm worried about the other large force in my proximity--it's in Cumae right now:

I'm not sure what Twinkletoes is doing right now--he could be moving to attack AT's cities on his western border (they are still at war), but he could also move out of my territory, then declare and move back. Twinkletoes could do whatever he wants right now, since he's the leader in power:

You'll notice I'm back to economy for a short time, getting Banking in two turns, then I'll probably go back and finish Steel. Of course, we'll see what's going on with Carthage right now:

We'd have to face cannons, but there's still barely any units in the south. I'm certainly not making any moves until AT/Twinkletoes fight a bit and wear down their forces, but I feel like my only way to do something to remain competitive is to take out another piece of Carthage (hopefully regaining my territory, if not more), but they have to have military somewhere, right? I also don't want to attack while my west is so exposed.

Hopefully we have another turn soon, and I can stay at peace for at least a couple more turns smile

T140 Report:
Two good pieces of news: Twinkletoes didn't declare on us (otherwise I wouldn't be writing this report right now, other than "yeah, I'm dead"), and I found a good chunk of Carthage's army!

So yeah, I should be checking what percentage of Carthage's army that is, but I don't feel like that right now. The picture I didn't get was Hartschild, but that only added a Cannon (so it's 1 Rifle, 2 Cannons, 2 Pikes). Importantly, those Rifles can't reach Hartschild before I could hit it with my 1-movers, but I don't think I could hold it with my current numbers--and notice he has Railroad now, so that could change quickly.

Domestic overview now:

Not much new here, only a couple things:
  • I've actually lost all my Iron sources! eek
This is actually kind of a benefit since I'm not building Praets or anything, and it means I can build cheap chariots for scouting and/or HR happiness smile
Not to mention, I'm sure if I really need Iron for something, Twinkletoes will let me borrow one of his, either for free or by trading him my extra dyes.
  • I finished Banking at EOT--I'm not sure how much I'll use it, since I still should be building some military, but I think I should try to get a bank in Caldisla at least, and maybe Norende and Florem as well.
  • Look at the tile SW of Rome--yes, Global Warming is happening already! This feels early--or does it just mean the leaders are building Factories already? How likely is Global Warming to occur before without Oil and Factories?

No changes here tongue

T142 Report:
I knew I shouldn't have researched Banking frown

Remember how AT and Twinkletoes made peace a bit ago? Twinkletoes decided to snipe my western filler cities, leaving me with only five cities left. I've offered straight peace, and I'm hoping he'll take it and decide not to bother with wiping me out for a bit longer--he doesn't appear to have that many troops around:

Other than those two cities, I don't see many other troops--there's a couple Cannons in the west, and Antium was taken by only a single Cavalry.
The interesting question to ask, assuming I get peace with Twinkletoes, is what I do next. Since I would have guaranteed peace for ~5 more turns with both AT and Twinkletoes, one would assume that would give me the window to attack Carthage. That would be true, except...

Yeah, B4ndit started moving troops up to the north, and the eastern outpost still has a ton of units in it (which I forgot to take a picture of). Honestly, given everything, what I would want to do is attack AT and take Mythril Mines, and maybe burn No Mas for fun if I could fit a Galley in. However, there's a problem with that too:

Yeah, AT still is leading everyone in the main stats (he just built Statue of Liberty to compound that snowball), and thus was able to recover from Twinkletoes wiping out his stacks. Unfortunately, Twinkletoes and AT still have that peace treaty, and thus Twinkletoes wouldn't be able to join me for a while (though not that long--I think our treaties are only separated by two turns, though I forgot to check). Carthage is the big wildcard in this conflict--B4ndit have enough power to do things, but can't take out either AT or Twinkletoes on their own. Of course, he could just decide to kill me instead tongue

It appears the game is ending, so I'll do one last report--that likely would have been my last report anyway tongue

Yeah, Twinkletoes isn't going to be content taking peace tongue
My plan here was to wait a turn, then when Twinkletoes presumably moved all this troops up, I would strike the stack. That gives him the chance to screw up by attacking his Cavs into my city, and gives me a couple more units I could attack with. Unfortunately he has the chance to heal his Cavs--but that either delays them a turn or lets me attack the Rifles directly (since all the damaged Cavs have Pinch, and are even top-defenders against my Grenadiers.
