I dont think that we must fear his cooper. Trying to attack us with melee will be hilarious now. Yeah, if 2-movers will take 9t to reach our borders we'll have looooots of warning of a 1-move stack incoming!
Mostly I was just working through it in my brain and typing the post at the same time

Let it grow to 2 on corn?
Coopertown can build WB pretty fast using its mine, but it needs to grow to 2 too to get 2 hpt bonus. We can't pass the Corn over too early because 54 needs it to build the Worker/Settler. My feeling without testing is that Bodmin builds a Warrior using the Plains Forest to complete it before the Copper hooks, and the borrows the Corn to get to size2. Meanwhile 54 should have regrown to size3 and can be microd to pop the Warrior out before the auto-upgrade. As soon as SH is complete (confidence!) Samarkand will steal the FP farm from 54 for the 1-2t until its own is complete to start its growth to size2. Once it's at size2 it can work FP & Gold and we should have a second Farm ready by the time it grows. We won't want to whip it often (possibly only Granary) since we want to to keep working Gold and so will grow slowly at small sizes.
Yeah, Coppertown itself is the best place to build the first WB; I'll look at whether it should use the mine or a grass forest to time the WB out as we get closer.

And this is why I think we should seriously consider The Great Wall as a back-up if the Stonehenge push fails with chops in progress....

the trick from building TGW and sending all barbs to your neighbor way rarely works in fact. Still nice to have it though.

t44 played, uneventful.
I /think/ that Commodore has stabilised EPs against us and switched back to someone else. (34/0 is the magic number, right?)

So I think we should go for Pottery next rather than AH; we're not desperate for Horses right now (and the Workers are otherwise engaged) and Pottery opens us up Cottages and Granaries.
I'm also working on tweaking the micro (partly because I moved the Warrior before the Road was finished last turn):

t46 - Stonehenge still unclaimed
dtay has founded his 3rd city (possibly to the NE of his Cap), but so have we:
Yeah, that's a lot of signs spammed out there! I guess the best thing you can say is that most of them are useful...!
3 Workers positioned to start chopping next turn, 4th Worker will pop and move North immediately to start roading between Bodmin and Los Millares site.
In scouting news, nothing much happening on the land bridge; planning to try to get Dolly past Commodore's West before his borders pop. Far North, Herc is dodging a Lion to keep on trucking. Real news is in the South:
So there's our first Barb Warrior sighted. Fortunately B+ was mid-move and made it to the SE forest out of reach, but the times are a changin' and we need to get some more military up and running.

t47 played this morning; chops started, not much to see from Scouting.
In other news it looks like the hotel WiFi will support connection to the game, which is good.

t48 rolled and played. Stonehenge chops will complete next turn...
Looks like the South Coast is barren; will post a shot next turn when B+ finishes defogging.
