Well, the funny thing is that regoarrarr just posted about the increase in his own tech, because of the extra trade routes from Corp that broker just gifted him, and everyone else. However, that is the tech that Exploit just started, so instead of it taking him 4 turns it is more likely to take him 3 after he gets teh tech bonus from everyone knowing it! And then that cust down the cost Munro has to pay to Broker for getting the tech.
regoarrarr also has the choice of either spy bombing or keeping the Gspy as a perfect scout on Exploits western front. I reckon regoarrarr choose the latter, so that he can make sure he gets a heads up if he is about to be invaded.

How does a great spy work? Does it have extra line of sight? Can't Regoarrar watch for an invation with a bunch of regular spies, and use the great spy for extra EPs?

Normal spies can get caught at random when in someone elses culture (well, not entirely at random but you get the idea). That can never happen with a Gspy, which is why it is uberpowerful.

Graps for everyone to look at:
NB. from demographics for CY, top 4 338, 342, 343, 519. Exploit is leading crop yield by over 170 without Biology.
TBH I don't think Exploit has a hope in hell of protecting Carn Dum unless he does this: send every single Cav he has to the west right now, stops reseach to upgrade a few WE to cav and send them as well, and gets minimum 3 cannons, preferably 5. If he gets that then I think he can make DSP not attack because DSP will definately not be able to take more than 1 city, and would only take 1 city if he were lucky. If Exploit doesn't get the cav and cannons in theatre he will just get rolled like a n00b, to use the MP expression.
If DSP heads for Imhotep, Exploit has time to get those units, but Carn Dum is not the place to take the stand. This'll be the first time that Exploit gets to show if he really has any warfare know-how IMO.
Resource/civ alignments
Coal: Haves: regoarrarr (3), Exploit (4ish, none in city limits or hooked lol), Shady (2), DSP (1), Munro (1), total = 11
Have nots: Broker/Lins/sunrise, Elkad, Imhotep,
sunrise will get a coal from regoarrarr, but that leaves regoarrarr with only 1 coal to buy off Broker and Lins, leaving regoarrarr needing to take the coal just outside PP, or get Shadyforce to gift the coal. That surfeit of coal maybe help Exploit get the reallignments he needs.

Wow. Exploit wants to throw in the towel over this recent issue with the moves? I'm sure the situation will change shortly, but it's surprising.
Then again, the issue with moves, double-moves, turn-splits, etc., seems to be a hot button issue. It came up in PB2, and it garnered a lot of discussion in PB3 planning. Tech trades seems to be the other hot-button.
I'm a little confused over what exactly happened, aside from dsplaisted/Daniel moving his units after the turn rolled over and Exploit feels that he got screwed out of his own moves. But, based on the rules for this game, it doesn't seem like dsplaisted broke 'em. And I don't know if this was really such a catastrophic loss for Exploit, either.
Well, I'm sure everyone else will set my straight on my analysis here!

Well, T hawk already posted his opinion, but here's mine:
I think what DSP did was at the very least cheesy: He basically wanted to move before Exploit could to defend Imhoteps capital, but won't declare war, so he fast moves. While he may well be within the letter of the law, it is not in the spirit of the game considering he has already told Exploit he considers him an enemy and moved after Exploit did, so in effect he just double moved on Exploit. I'd be pissed off as well if he did it to me.
That is the second time a double move has occured that's hurt exploit, so tbh I don't think any of the players are really following a good spirit rule, regardless of what is written down.

Well, I'd take it back, but could you imagine everyones' opinions? My ability + spoiler infomation? I suppose it could be a nice fight, but it wouldn't be particulary fun for anyone else, especially considering I know the back ground diplomacy.
I would do it if no one stepped forward, just to keep the game going.

Ahh, looks like I didn't really understand the implications, then. Although I saw dsplaisted say that he was going to declare war, I didn't quite catch how these movements were fully relevant to Exploit.
Hopefully by the time PB4 is organized, a better rule-set will be developed to govern movement.
Also, I have no opinion on you taking over Inca, Krill, although I'm sure most of the other players wouldn't be happy with it. Then again, dunno if anyone is gonna be happy at the end of this game.

I'm just disappointed that the work around I set up before the summer, so I could play MP at uni, stopped working, otherwise we would never be in this debacle. That and regoarrarr would be crippled by now.
