Yeah, if they moved teh stack after GJ on T154 it's a double move.
[No Players] Lurker thread, to lurk and chirp

Super Edit for above post: Yeah, they moved in on the first half of T155, but it's unclear if they moved anything after GJ on T154.
(January 13th, 2015, 12:37)Old Harry Wrote: It sounds like they moved all the relevant units before GJ played last turn so it's not a double move, just a tardy end of turn. Can we tell him that? I think we should do. If GJ had a sentry horse he should have seen the stack on T153, if not then he wouldn't have seen it until this turn. I agree it's not a double move and if anything it was misplayed badly and should have benefited GJ.
I think we should tell him that, given his comments in his thread. I'm going to say:
GJ: The lurkers looked into your concerns. REMAI played T154 before you, in accordance with a split for the past few turns, except to the brief log in afterward to end turn. We can verify through screenshots that attacking forces were stationary and in range to reach their current spot in your borders on T153 and that no movements of that stack were made after you played on T154. I'll post it in a bit in case anyone wants to edit.
I shouldn't have bothered. Good luck TBS!
Krill - from what I understand they were planning to hit him in the first half of t154, but then while Adrian was waiting for the go-ahead from REM, Joey played his turn. So I don't think any of the units that matter in this case double-moved. Then for some bizarre reason to do with the sanctity of turn order REMAI didn't just attack him after he moved. If Joey gets his reload I think they should move in second half of t154 instead of the second half of t155 ...
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
I'm inclined to agree with Joey, REMAI should have waited for him to play on T155 and attacked in the second half of the timer.
I'm not sure I see any disadvantage to Joey, with them attacking first slot on T155 compared to second on T154 (but I'm tired right now). And there doesn't seem to be any double move or malicious intent on REMAI's side. There's no rules for the game beside 'don't be a jerk' but they want my opinion and if I was in REMAI's situation on T155, I would have waited until the second half of the timer. So, I think I'd recommend a reload to T155 before REMAI played and appeal to Joey to not make moves with the knowledge that REMAI are going to attack. Which is pretty impossible to ask, so it couldn't be regulated, just appeal to his honor. Of course, REMAI would be under no compulsion to attack on T155. Anyone feel strongly on this? Otherwise I'll PM them in ~30mins. |
