Ok, I'll adjust a couple things to account for GermanJojo's comments. Move thoth's food inward, make sure all the sugars are 1st ring, and take the forests off the gems.
I'm not too worried about making exact matches, just getting them close enough that the map doesn't determine the winner. And lush because that tends to make the game more fun.

civ choices:
Nappy of Byz - Com
Genghis of China - Com
Washington of Spain - wetbandit
Pericles of Aztecs - wetbandit
Zara of Japan - yuri
Asoka of America - yuri
Augustus of Greece - Flug
Darius of England - Flug
Brennus of Korea - Pin
Wang Kon of Ottomans - Pin
So many fishing choices. These came from a huge map I started with random players, first 10 pairings were allocated to the players in order that they appeared in the signup thread in the general forum.
All starts are plains hill, inner ring fish and inner ring wet wheat and a river. It's a modified Medium and small map to turn it into a pangaea because 5 players on pangaea is never going to work unless it's totally hand built. This one isn't. And, in Commodorian fashion, it's Cylindrical with Commodore in the middle of everyone.
Karma's a bitch.

Funny how Pind and Commodore missed each other by a few turns on the double corn/cow site with the bear.

Hmmm, I dunno about Comm's dotmap for his first few cities... he had to build a lot of roads for routes and only gets a grass cow and a wet rice first ring for his trouble, and nothing really to speak of second-ring besides that ivory. I think I would have settled Pibal and 1E of Murtaugh as my first two cities, and probably eventually settled his Andreysan spot 1NE, on the gems, heh. After all, he doesn't really have any other motivation for iron working from this spot, and Imp loves early happy...

Those are forested gems, not jungled gems.
I think Pindicator has this one on the bag, even though it's early. That second city is too powerful, compared to the others. And Pindi is a very good player and seems to be pretty dedicated (probably even more once he starts dominating the score).
