Regarding the map, I'll generate a few using the World of Erebus script; if I can't find one which I feel I can reasonably edit into something workable, I'll move on to other, similar options. I will include "flavor" as serves a strategic purpose, Lanun will have a coastal start, people with special UU resource requirements will have a source reasonably nearby, etc. I will not actually enable the Flavor Start option, because it inevitably leads to nonsense like the Doviello having nothing but ice, tundra and plains tiles. Balancing that would be a nightmare.
