Is it possible to win 'Conquest' while having Vassals?

I can only assume that this turn, Cardith declared on the Orcs ... b/c the Orcs that didn't want to Vassalize to me before, offered their vassalization this turn.

   

I refused of course, but then I countered with them becoming my vassals so longas they gave me 3 gold per turn. I then had to offer them copper and Pigs ... I probably could have gotten away with not giving them the copper ... but I think copper Orcs are fun, even for my vassals


My macro plan is to raze the holy cities of RoK and Order, while capturing the OO holy city ... and hopefully building the shrines of both AV (first) and OO (second), if the Necronomicon hasn't already been built by the Lanun.

since Undead (Spectres) can't enter Flames ... we will want all of our cities relatively desert free

I researched Infernal Pact to all but a few beakers short of the mark, so that I can summon Infernals/ get the civic pretty much whenever I want ....

I'd rather have my high-prod cities build Forges (and regrow) before I go into a build-comeptition with the Infernals :P

(and It would be nice to be at war with, say, the Bannor, when I summon Infernals too)

the last city actually had a fully promoted Arthendain ... so it took a WHOLE THREE TURNS to raze it >_>

I was a bit concerned about the un-escorted Witches ... I will NOT repeat that strat vs Bannor ... Bannor would just ROFL STOMP kill-off any unescorted witch army .... so I know to be prepared in the future now.
