Krag was pretty busy in real life last time I had a chat with him (few weeks ago). Not sure if that has changed since but he said he should be able to keep his games moving.

I'd suggest replacing Saruman first, and see if the pace gets better. If not, then also replace Kragroth.

Hey guys, should we just put this game on hold until interest re-sparks? As it is, it seems like we are in some sort of Elliptical turn-purgatory.

Also, didn't Old Lion say that he would be pretty busy in August?

I vote that we put the game on pause and restart it (same turn) on September 3rd.

If I receive any more turns, I will continue to handle them in a timely manner.

But... this has gotten ridiculous. Games that degenerate to this point rarely survive for much longer. At this point I am very pessimistic, considering we haven't even reached the "complicated" stages of the game and we have multiple people habitually holding the save for over 24 hours.

Yes, hard to say. Balseraphs (primarily) and Sheaim (secondarily) seem to be a source of constant turnplay concern.

Since we still have 3 rapid-fire players, I'm not convinced that the game is dead, but I wouldn't mind finding replacements for these civs, including possibly bringing Northstar back (tbh)
