Grimace's scout disappeared and did not go to find our borders. I am inclined to see that as a sign of peace, albeit might as well be a trap. It's pretty clear where our borders are, so why not send some axes there directly and without warning. At least he won't mess with micro. In any case, we responded in kind and pulled back to explore our east, which is going to be the main direction of settling.

So, our planned city spot also has a (forested) sheep, too bad pastures require forest removal. Is lumber mill better than pasture there? In any case, a slightly changed city location gets 3 cows at the expense of having no defense bonus and being useless pre-border pop.

Pasture is better. This city will be relatively food-poor.

Oh, also, I grabbed the demos, but there isn't much to see there except that some people's fish is already online. Crazy, if you ask me, but I guess Krill made all the calculations necessary to ensure it's even. Or maybe only good if you are expansive and have a first ring forest ivory to work smile

I've simmed some more and I think that I prefer building the settler on size 2, growing doesn't seem to give us anything, we can still build the second warrior the turn after the settler completes.
