New plan: Archery>AH. I'm going to go warrior eoT47> archer eoT52> spear eoT54> settler eoT57 in second city, but putting hammers into a warrior that will queue upgrade to a spear. Northern fogbusters can go to hell. Fourth worker will mine a hill until AH comes in then hook ivory or prechop the capital plains hill forest depending on tech timing. I can use 2 workers to hook iron and then split them, one to dump worker turns into mining the plains hill, other to road the forest 3 of second city, enabling double worker chop on T54. Worker north of the river will mine the grass hill and then chop a forest for second city T56.
Fuck me this micro is a total bitch.

OK, What's happening now. I'll start with the tl;dr because I'm lazy.
- I'm researching AH>Archery, because knowledge of horse location could make me change settling priority.
- I'm prebuilding a spear in JF, finishes eoT53 and is in place to defend the marble hill city.
- Marble hill city is planted T58, but I can micro to settle on T57 with a road on the marble hill. I do not believe it is worth 3 worker turns to do this.
- Gems city will not be settled until T62, one turn later than expected because I will not use 4 workers for the road forward. I will have three workers in the area, as the fourth worker built at the capital must stay to improve the capital and third city.
- I'm chopping a fourth forest to speed up the barracks at third city.
The specific micro that is my first like (I have about 4 lines available at present because horses change stuff). There are essentially 5 scenarios:
- Horse at capital,
- Horse in overlapping area between capital and third city,
- Horse at third city inner ring,
- Horse at second city,
- Horse needs own city.
Scenarios A and B I discard immediately, horse at capital shouldn't ever occur. C is a joke but this map is...not ordinary, but with 2 workers at the city after AH is researched I would have the option of hooking horse and changing the micro again. D I have no idea what to do because I'm neutering the second city to help third city. Probably just build a worker at size 2 TBH. E is...meh, not that bad, I can build AGG axes to deal with none AGG axes, it's just not ideal.
The critical timing is the chop needed by T55 for DF for the marble hill settler, and that is achieved by worker 1 whilst workers 2 and 3 hook the iron. Worker 1 will chop out the barracks in city 3, and then moves to a forest to chop the settler. I do have the option of instead roading with worker 1 and then using workers 2 and 3 to finish the chop by T55 so I have all three workers in position to road to the next two cities.
The roads to the fifth city for gems is a bit more difficult. I need to dump two workers onto one tile to get the road in place for when the fifth city is settled. Ideally that would be the tile immediately adjacent to the fourth city, and the road is completed on T59. That allows the wheat to be improved on T62. But the pig and silver are available to be hooked on T62 and I want two workers there pronto. The fourth worker built at the capital can do the silver, but the pig is more difficult still. I am short on worker turns, so it may be that I one pop whip a worker out of second city and drop it to size 1 with just the sheep and then leave it on a granary for a long time.

Seriously, that third city is a mid game monster city. I might even have settled my cap there with different scout moves.

Oh god the barbs are swarming. Hooking iron will help me murder the SOBs but I could do with a few more cheap warriors. Oh well. New micro needed.

Just a heads up for whomever subs in for TheWannabe next turn: We're in a turn split because I have a warrior two tiles from one of his settlers, and one of his warriors I may attack depending on unit positions next turn.
