New FFH2 PBEM?

Somehow I missed it the first time. I've sent the forwarding confirmation.

Does Kragoth want to be removed from the forwarding? I can leave both of you on it together as a team.

Accepted.

May as well leave him on; I wasn't very sure if he was bailing for good or if I was helping out temporarily.

Tracker setup is done. You should be able to send and receive saves via the tracker without issue. (The tracker website won't update when you send the save, but Old Lion will still receive it.)

You can send messages by any method but only while you have the turn.

Notably, this prevents using chat/IM and ties the pace of communication to the turn pace. Conversations tend to be pretty exciting at our current pace of two turns per month.

As far as I understand it, the diplomatic rules are for 1 message per turn.

My interpretation is that this is either 1 e-mail, 1 in-game message, or a brief IM chat.

In practice, the golden rule is that you do not hold a save hostage in order to wait on a message, or in other words, as long as diplomacy does not get in the way of turn pace it is more or less acceptable.

I think the most I ever did in one turn was 2 e-mails plus a brief IM chat, but that was all in quick succession and related to one particular topic. After that event I have largely steered clear from IM chats in order to not take a 'slippery slope', with the help of 3rd party input/advice.

In general I would consider this a '1 message per turn, by any means, with leniency' --- my broad interpretation would include either a single lengthy and multi-topic'd email, or several brief communications all focused on one topic, so long as it does not affect turn pace. To my knowledge this approach has not caused any problems.

Sorry, thought it had already been sent two days ago and hadn't checked the tracker to notice otherwise.
