That was not remotely a good game on my part. Probably one of the worst games I've ever played, compounded by some bad luck. I think this world is better off without me. Commissar

On a different note - I am getting stuck on Connected to host, before I can even choose my civ. is there something wrong with the game, or is it me?

Is there a problem with the game? I can't connect and civstats has borsche being logged in for the last hour. I can ping the server, at least.
