Mackoti vs mostly_harmless in pb13 was pretty similar, but came 20 turns later (not that surprising with the tech rate of this map) and with colossus and paya.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld

But Krill actually reported his blitz.
The whole world seems to have gotten a lot more dangerous recently.

Cheater Hater Wrote:The big news is that Colossus has fallen, but to a surprising source: DZ! I don't know exactly where it is (surprisingly it's not in the Moai city of Maersk, though I'm assuming he didn't want it that exposed), but that means he has MC, as well as spent a ton of hammers on something that isn't military. Does that means I should be attacking about now? I still don't like attacking before Cats though.
Donovan...??? What on earth are you thinking buddy?
Score a lucky break for taotao and Mack, and look forward to more despair from England... and yes CH, you should be gearing up to attack now with whatever you have on hand just to grab whatever you can.

Good golly global troop buildup has escalated quickly:
(from taotao's recent post)
That >400k soldiers figure is owned by REM. Mack is right, that is a ridiculously large soldier count for this point in the game. I wonder who he'll hit? I think his two options are the juicier but harder-to-peel Commodore of the Ottomans, or the far weaker but less lucrative Elkad of America. My money's on the latter... Elkad's got quite a bit of good land still unsettled, and some of his few cities are not able contributors. (long-distance pink dot near Borsche, culturally pressed city near Com) I think once his front collapses, Elkad won't have much left to fight with.

But would you leave a man like Com cornered and able to cut your land in half while waiting for the spoils to mature and ensure domination over neighbours?
Or would you crush the biggest threat before backlines can be boated and his eco/tech boosts from Mids and infra whilst yours crash due to soldierbuilds, AND hope that noone else eats Elkad before that is done and then swallow him as well?
Classic warfare dillema when fighting more opponents, do you crush the biggest or smallest opponent first.

Ordinarily I'd say Elkad all the way. But looking at that power difference, I'm not sure Comm could stop him either.

Yeah, wow, didn't see that... 220k power difference is a LOT of horchers, catapults, and swords.

edit: for those who don't realize what this screenshot is about, the Colossus has been changed to a single-city effect (like in ToW) for RtR 3.0.0.4.

I don't really like that change, but yeah, DZ gets a big derp for not RTFM on that one.
