There's another option I guess: a lurker logs in unpauses and afterwards logs in for us, makes the diplo and repauses.

The game is paused and I'm stuck in diplo. Up for another 2 hours, then another window roughly 10 hours from now.

We really should have a 1000 hour timer, so no need for pauses and diplostuck unpausing....just let players log and play when able.

Hopefully we can recover from this glacial speed, I think I can take 3-4 turns more of this pace then my head will implode, I will declare war on myself and concede. (No problem with a 4-day pause, its the regular speed that is killing me softly)
