We start on a building which is nice, but there was no enemies nearby so we couldn't exploit it.
First pod is found after a few turns:
With no timer I take my time getting into position. After a few turns I'm able to put threat assessment on Dp101, set everyone except Dp101 and Lewwyn (phantom concealed, so can't participate) on overwatch and use faceoff with Dp101.
I was hoping for more than a single hit... Then it triggers and while Dp101 kills the officer everyone else misses.
At least the shieldbearer is busy setting up the shield, but the trooper will get a shot.
Dreylin is left with 1HP. We haven't even killed the first pod and we're in trouble... Want to kill the shieldbearer first to make the trooper easier.
WK 59% - miss but get holo targetting on shieldbearer
Jowy 86% - hit & stun
Dp101 Lightning Hands 88% - hit & burn
Dreylin Lightning Hands 66% - hit
Dreylin grenade takes it down to 1HP, and the burn will kill it eot
As for the trooper:
Dp101 2 Pistol shots - 95% hit & burn down to 1HP
Didn't kill either of them but both die eot to the burn. Sareln heals Dreylin while Lewwyn finds a turret.
Not great but Lewwyn has a grenade on hand to deal with it and is still concealed so it doesn't trigger. Want to find the 2nd pod before doing so and a couple of turns later I find them. Tried to get a Long Watch/overwatch trap on them but I only get 1 hit on the sectoid.
WK freezes the rightmost group with a frost bomb. Jowy takes care of the viper behind the tree while Lewwyn 1 hit KO's the turret. Next turn I make sure Lewwyn gets the kill he needs:
1 more pod to go. With overwatch traps having failed twice already they've got to work this time right? Eventually they move into view:

Still, the pod could've chosen a better formation. They are incredibly vulnerable to aoe damage and I unleash both discharge and an acid grenade on them. The rest of the squad cleans up and the mission is finally over.
That felt like it took forever. Still with only 1 injury it could've gone a lot worse.
We get a advanced stock which is nice, also we have enough supplies for the armor upgrade now. Which is good, because we don't want any casualties on our experienced dudes.
