[TECH] Pitboss 37 IT and Tech Issues Thread

t114: Sorry for holding things up; I'll be able to get to the turn in about an hour or so (it should still be less than 24 hours since the turn rolled).
It's been an exhausting first week at work, too! edit t115: turn rolled and played.
Heads-up: I'll be going on another 3-day vacation this weekend.
I anticipate being able to play this evening, during the day tomorrow (Friday), and evenings on all of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday (US Labor Day) is likely to be problematic -- I may well need a pause then. (I'll be in the US Pacific time zone all this time.)
Heads up, I'm going on holiday on Friday. I'm going to visit family in South Carolina and Florida, I am taking a laptop (albeit an old one) and I will be able to continue to play my turns as far as I am aware, there is wifi at the locations I'm staying. Standard proviso, there will be some variability in play windows.
Internet at my current hotel is unreliable at best... I can't connect to the game.
I'll probably need a pause until Monday evening. My apologies, everyone.

I've "lost connection to the Pitboss server!" twice during my turn now and then got briefly stuck trying to connect to Established Peer Coeur.
While amusing, I hope that won't cause issues. Will also pause the game as requested once I'm finished and I promptly forgot to pause. Will do it now.
I still cannot connect to the game... I'll have to get home to play my turns.
This will likely be late this evening. |
