We argued about this for a long while earlier. I'll do it your way. I just wanted to point out that I was wrong about something. We'll need the mine in the next few turns when we overflow into and start the settler. Losing it will not only lose the worker turns but also delay the settler a turn.

True. I think it's worth it though to get MC in earlier. The only reason our civ is meaningfully in the game right now is that we can beat India's would've-been MC time by a wide margin. Delaying our next city by a turn is worth having 80 more gold in the bank, especially considering that instead of the mine, we'll be working cottages. It's worth it to ensure we impress with our MC time. In my opinion.
At all events, if something terrible happens, I'll willingly take the blame!

Since I don't know our microplan anymore, I'm posting some random diplo thoughts in my second first-page post. Also, from a discussion with Krill today:
chat with Krill Wrote:me: I guess we should probably wait to look in-game before talking specifics since I don't remember for sure what's been researched so far, but...
...do you think we agree in principle to trading techs, making up differences by spreading faith, and say an auto-renewing NAP (no set expiration, 10t cooldown)?
(adds a "can" to "think we can agree in princip;e")
Krill: that works for me
have you been talking with England?
me: Yup
Krill: well
sufficed to say that I think we can work together.
me: Thanks for suggesting we poke them. You were of course correct.
Krill: I've explored a bit south towards you, but not all that much
but I can't see us arguing over land between us, I have the north to expand into, and still need to get my economy in order first...

I played most of the turn quickly this morning, just one woker and possibly one chariot to move. I think, as it appears likely we're going to lose a mine, I'm going to send that worker to mine the grass hill that PR and Fierias share unless there are objections. I'm typing this at work, so, there is no picture, sorry.
RefSteel is on vacation, so our marathon gchat planning sessions are not going to be happening for the next 10-14 days, which might be a good thing for the lurkers at I *migh* have more time to post stuff here
Teh micro plan was (and still is for one more turn) largely at the mercy of the barbarian hordes, who, by the way, moved in the WORST possible way - one onto the sheep, and the other onto the mine, meaning we couldn't protect both. I, of course, protected the Sheep with our 1 turn old Axe, named Dragon (after trhe cat from Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of NIMH). Meanwhile, the barbarian threatening Pride Rock decided to try to steal some horses. The newly minted, as yet unnamed axe (I'm thinking Pouncer, after the cat from Beaches) finished them off nicely. Our Holkan, name'd Dr. Seuss (author of the cat in the hat, and them Holkans wear funny hats) has arrived to garrison the capital.
I'll provide pictures, and a tentative micro plan tomorrow I hope.

Good news: We did NOT get pillaged! The barb moved onto the corn instead! That meant Dr. Seuss could whack him.
Bad news: In a 99.4% odds battle, Dr. Seuss was knocked down to 0.4/4... The RNG is just peeing on us this game. Fortunately, I don't expect it to matter, because after a double whip at Fierias, we'll have another axe next turn.
We no longer have any major threats in the north. One of the barbs is wandering about aimlessly along our boarders, and the other one is lunch for an axe next turn unless he moves away. We have a barb headed towards "shared cottage", but Pouncer can deal with him if he moves in. Finally, there is a new barb in the south, 1 tile south of the gold. I have a chariot parked on the gold, however. I THOUGHT about just whacking him, but, opposite to earlier, I decided we needed the 99.1% odds (vs 95.6%) more than we needed the 1XP in this battle because we're pretty thin till I can get an axe or two down here.
Pictures/Micro plan later probably.

Well, here's the state of the empire update. We'll see about the micro plan.
First, here's an overview of the Mayan Empire:
I really don't know what to say specifically about this.
Here's a look at Fierias:
It's only size 3 at the moment, because we double whipped it this turn for an axe/start of a settler for the spot signed Feng Shui. This is just 6 turns after we triple whipped a library/overflow into an axe. It'll grow back to size 4 next turn, then start on a settler. It would grow to size 5 the following turn if we let it, but, it would be unhappy, so we'll just have to build the settler at size 4 for 3 turns. This isn't optimal of course, but we needed the library and those 2 axes, and they really couldn't wait. We should have the silver online soon to help with the unhappiness too.
Here we see Pride Rock:
It just grew back to size 4 from it's whip of a Holkan/Spear pair 3 turns ago. It's working on a worker, due in 5, not the barracks that you see in the pictures. This will take it up to near the end of it's whip anger, and give us a chance to get the silver online.
And here is a look at Temminck:
It's got a couple of hammers in a chariot, that can be single whipped in an emergency, and is now working on the first 31 hammers of a library, so we can double whip it. The workers are working on getting that rice online in two turns so it can grow faster and so it can work the copper and gold when needed without being totally stagnated.
Here's a look at our finances:
Not much to say there.
Here's a look at our military:
It's slowly evolving from the cardboard cuttouts to "lightly defended" We'll get another axe next turn.
And finally, here's our status:
We're taking a turn off research, our last for a while, but, as you can see, we're still 4th in GNP (would be second)
Our food situation is suffering a bit because of all the whipping, but thats temporary, and will get a big boost when the rice comes online.
Hammers... we're not doing so well in hammers, but then again, we have the copper and two mines sitting idle while we work on our food/commerce.
I'll see if I can complete the micro plan tonite. If not, it should be up tomorrow.
EDIT: Actually, I turned research back on. turn 77 looks like a better turn to take off from researching.

Thanks for the overview! You've included a picture of Pride Rock twice, the latter should be of Temminck.
I have to run.

Ooops... I DO have a proper picture hosted on my computer at home, I'll try to get it loaded up later tonite after work.
I also PLAN to do a rundown of all the civs, how we stand with them (we're actually friendly with EVERYONE at the moment, which is a *good* problem), and any outstanding deals we have (we have surprisingly few, and none with any of our direct boarder neighbors...) with them in the next few days if I get time.
Just one quick note to my teamates, Portugal finally replied to our email (it only took them TWELVE DAYS ) and we should have sailing when I log in later tonite, which doesn't do us any good atm, but is needed for calendar and it's associated goodies.
Also, a question about the micro plan. I don't really like having to make a monument at FS. We COULD put two chops into a library and single whip the rest, or... we could put one chop into a monument and the other into the grainery. The issue here is the gems and spices are not first ring, and we obviously want those in range asap. Let me know what you think (especially if you are for both forests going to the library.
