turn played ... axe (3.9/5.0) and immortal (3.1/4.0) are healing in forest but they were joined by 2 more immortals (full str) ... Yaz's workers have started on a pasture.

Hmm, if that is true that a lurker is giving away vital information then perhaps this should be investigated further? What if said person is doing the same for other threads etc ?

I'm sure there's some things we could do to investigate this?

Oh and if i see overly keen to look into this- as your dedicated lurker- it sucks to not see all battle plans

I don't think it is happening, but at this stage of the game, I don't want to give Yaz any advantage. I know it sucks not to be able to see the game ... hey - @Kyan: the password is unchanged so feel free to d/l and open the save.

Here is an update ...

Yaz moved his workers (they were building a pasture) onto the jungle ... my guess is that he will road there so that his incoming units can land 1 tile closer to my capital. Maybe he should have done that last turn instead of pasture for cows?

Anyway, he moved is axe / 3 immortal stack South (from blue dot) for ... ... some unknown reason. He could have left them to heal another turn. My guess is he will move them East and bring up the spear (after the workers have roaded).

He'll see my defenders in a few turns at which point I will show you exactly what is / has been happening at Kyoto.

Well, I understand your caution. I hope that you can hold out! Losing your Copper surely hurt.

If worse comes to worst, hopefully you can rebuild and resettle on one of the other islands.

Now that Yaz has a unit that can actually see Kyoto, I will share the full situation ... well, almost

He is sitting on my mine (1F3H) with an immortal. I have a spear that can kill it (99%) but that would leave it exposed. I would have laughed if he had moved 2 units up - unlucky for me he didn't. You can see what units he has coming (that axe has a promo due - not sure about the immortals, have assumed they will all be combat II).

In Kyoto is ...

Spear (Combat 1)
Archer (Drill I, City Garrison I) with promotion due)
Chariot
Warrior (Combat 1)

I did some sims using the combat calculator (it is out of date but the best I have) that shows the following (assuming my Spear ends up at average str):

Immortal #1 (Combat II) v Spear - 0.6%
Immortal #1 (Combat II) v Spear (str 3.1) - 2.8%
Immortal #1 (Combat II) v Spear (str 2.2) - 6.7%
Axe v Archer (D1, CG2) - 15.4%
Axe v Archer (D2, CG1) - 15.6%

What is up with Immortals? They get +50% v archers but do they get anything else? Terrain defensive bonuses? Ignores Free Strike?

The big question that Yaz has to ask himself is what I have on that galley and how long will it take me to finish my next unit in my capital?

Played my turn ... what happened?



I did have a unit on that galley - he killed Susa for 12g but he will be dead next turn. Was it worth it? Well, it isn't as if that unit (a chariot) was going to help much back at Kyoto ... and I currently have horses so I can build more if I need to.

You can see what is facing Kyoto and what I have defending there. I shall complete an archer (D1, CG1 plus due a promotion - the picture above is out of date - I have not completed that worker) when I hit EOT so it will be 5 units v 5 units and me with a very very strong advantage. Kyoto is pulling 8 hammers per turn at the moment, so that is 1 archer every 2 turns. I don't think that Yaz can bring enough units to kill that city.

You can also see my other galley fleeing with my two workers. They will go and start improving my second city.

Oh - I left my galley 1 North of the immortal to block any Yaz galleys that might be coming.

Nice going. Still, why weren't you more unhappy the turn Yaz razed copper city? I would be livid.

Are you in KILL DIRTY NAPSTABBER mode now or was that part of your Confuse Krill strategy?

And what are your thoughts about Yaz's stated reasons for breaking the NAP?

I am and was totally pissed. Not much I could actually do about it but YAZ is dead. I don't care what sort of terms he offers.

This game will very shortly take a very nasty turn for him.

Reasons? He thought I had leaked his plans (you could argue that I could have [strike]instead[/strike] because of the hints that I dropped Darrell's way) but, as I emailed him, he totally set me up ...

• told me his plans about Darrell
  
• accused me of leaking them
  
• breaks his NAP on the back of that accusation
  

Even if I did nothing, he could still argue the same logic. Talk about stitched up.
