I joined the community and started posting on the old forum in late 2002. My first foray into Civilization on the internetz was joining Apolyton in the fall of 2001, writing short fiction based on Civ3 games.

Wow, that's incredibly dorky...

But with just 16 posts in 8.5 years, I would say that I never got too involved with Apolyton. I was pretty active at Civfanatics for quite a while, with close to 2000 posts.

We wouldn't have join dates from anybody who posted on the N54 forums since you logged in through them rather than running our own software. I don't know how much Civ was discussed back in those days, but I guess you would have quite a few "old timey" players.

I recall the old N54 forums. I also recall by the end they went totally out of control with add overload.

As for Civ, I know Civ was discussed on the N54 forums. I know I got several comments about how did I get hear since I didn't play Diablo...
