SL has proven that the world is round. He beat me to it by 1 or 2 turns and I had to swap boats (send a galley back and send a WB out) when the Yaz Episode occurred (cost me about 3 or 4 turns). Well, I guess that wars have little costs as well as big ones.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Woo hoo! I knew it was round but there were some sceptics amongst the populace in Native America. I tried to tell them but they wouldn't have it.
The only answer was to despatch a boat to prove them wrong and me right. The fishermen of the brave little boat must return home now and try and catch some kippers!
Ruff - do you remember when you founded Osaka you pushed my WB 2 squares in the right direction? Thanks!

de Gaulle has found a way to make French the dominant language on the planet: build a great big library that all the important scientists go to, to read the important papers.
In otherwords, 4th world wonder built now (the Shrine counts).

I'm actually unsure if I would be happy or sad if my capital got razed now. I suppose it would depend on who did the invading. Pity there is no Germany on this map.

Byzantium knows nothing of them ... so they must not exist.

Was going to put something sarcastic about the Maginot Line here, but then realised you're playing DeGaulle, one of the few Frenchies who publically disagreed with it.

Hello all - with Dreylin away at the moment I am holding on to the save for a couple of days seeing as there isn't any rush - I also have a few social commitments that mean I would be rushing it - no need right now. Don't worry Yaz - you will have it in good time before Dreylin returns.

Not worried at all, I'm about 99.99999% certain you have nothing to stop the 20xHA and 7xCat army I'm about to drop off next to you. You can take all the time you need.
