And, heh, I forgot that playing as the Kurios means that Brian and Auro's avatars are giant weasels standing on their hind legs.
Edit: also, the setting to force the appearance of all unique features doesn't appear to be enabled on the settings page.
Second edit: I'm not happy about having half of our extra large fat cross be coast/ocean with no seafood, although settling off the coast invalidates some very useful trade boosting buildings. It's also worth noting that if we don't settle by a river, we will never be able to build Deruptus. On the flip side, we should avoid starting a culture war with our ally (it probably makes sense to pop our world spell on the turn we settle).
Yeah, where to settle is interesting. We'll have to see what the first player does. I'd not initially noticed that moving N would clash with Einon. I don't know whether the OCC settings allow you to restrict your AI teammates settling as well ...
EDIT: Is there actually an OCC setting in FfH/EitB? I had assumed that there was, but can't see it. Doesn't really matter for us, I guess, as there are no restrictions on National Wonders etc. IIRC, but it may be a difference between this and BTS for our ally. We can probably rely on Einon not to expand too much anyway ...

If so, my apologies for the horrible puns. I didn't find any requests for unit names, so....
Actually I had one. Don't worry, I should be able to change it.

Not a bad start; I suggest settling on the hut.
You all okay with playing in order of sign-ups?

Agreed with settling on hut or on ph 2N. Maybe use scout first to move 1E then 1NE if there's anything good?
Also suggested playing order is okay.

I think ph settling has a little less food that the hut spot.

There is an OCC setting, though I haven't opened the save yet to see if it's set. I concur that Einon probably won't settle too widely, I don't think we have anything to fear from him winning Domination for us or anything. I had really wanted OCC just to limit civ management on our own end and to force us to heavily rely on our Avatars. I anticipate Einon will spend most of his time in AI Panic Mode from being in too many concurrent wars, which is fine as long as he helps us tech at a reasonable pace.

The settings page definitely says "One City" or some such.

scouting suggestion:
the horseman can move to NW of the hut (is it better if one of the hunters clears the hut first?), one 2-mover can scout the PH, and the scout can move to the forest SE of the lair.
Do we prefer having the gold resources for ourselves instead of the villagers? If so, between the hut and the PH claims both, but gets the cow and more river than the PH. Else I'd prefer hut over PH probably, without having given it too much thought.
