That's probably my fault. Ramk wrote me that he found something that prevents the server from crashing on these connection errors. Because of that I tried to login in to test stuff on my side, but I think Ramk did not implement those fixes already.

Yes it was the network socket again. The fix/filter to prevent this crash is still not active on Zulan's server.
I've dumped the traffic and will take a look what/who was the reason.

Server is up again.

FYI I had the connection error again, but thanks to Ramks recent fix the server didn't crash. Now the only problem was connecting and I could achieve that by reconnecting my router.

So are you saying you're responsible for the majority of Pitboss crashes in the last three months? lol

That is possible, but at the same time others could have been affected by the same bug. Ramk explained it here

We now have 5 (soon 6) games of CtH running. The traits haven't changed much except for minor changes to Protective and Aggressive from PB53 onward. I will soon (T100) be able to reveal more and interesting data from my tracking tool in PB54s lurker thread. But before that happens I want to take the chance and collect some unspoiled data from you players and lurkers of this mod. For this I provided this survey, which should be fairly quick to fill out:
