One day, I'll figure out how to expand and tech at the same time...however, it's not that important right now.
I have 2 settlers out, one for the rice/plains cow site on the edge of the map, the other for 1W of the cornsouth of Cow Catapults. I have a fair few workers...will have 16 by t80,and now I'm growing into the higher food areas of hte map slavery will become more useful.
Need to figure out what to tech after IW. Most simple choice is Monarchy for HR, and an easy method of growing tohe good cottage cities into the sky. Once I hook up all of the easy res, I should have a health cap of 12 without river or forests, so it seemslike the smartest move IMO, then get CoL, then head for Currency. I'm considering getting Monotheism, but my economy sucks enough to make it a rather bad move, delaying a crucial tech in Monarchy.

In normal games and maps, it's called the Great Lighthouse.

Should note, I havehad 3 free religion spreads, whereas Cyneheard had a total of 1 forest growth, and one jungle grow onto a pigs
I'm winning the "luck" war so far.

Is there some crazy espionage way to learn that in game?!

Cyneheard told me. Not exactly that big a deal, except that I knew where his city was. I was telling him when I got the free religion spreads, trash talk style.
For instance, he was insulting my crop yield earlier when it was 10 less than his, but my MFG was 10 higher (it has pretty consistently been better than his, thanks to BB), the cost however is that my GNP is much suckier than his, as you can see.

I tend to believe the higher early MFG will win the day (providing one doesn't screw up ). Your GNP/tech will catch up (so will his MFG) but it should give you enough of a head start to give you an edge...even if it's just a small one.
Played in:
RBPB2 - Willem of Ottoman - 6th/10
RBPB3 - Joao of Inca 13th/17 or so???
PBEM6 - Shaka of the Vikings 2nd/5 (thanks Lewwyn)

A lot of info in a short space of time!
I see in one of the screenshots, you're building a worker in Dino Diner at size 1. What was the thinking of that one, since you'd never be in a position to whip it in and the city doesn't grow the whole time? Were you just too short of other workers to help that city at the time?
