Btw, looking ahead, I plan to name our rifles after Kilrathi pilots/nobelmen whatever. There is a very long list of said at CIC, and we hopefully will have very lots of these units. The unpdate is nearly done.
PR would be a swell place to build a missionary. Only one problem... the only kind of missionary it can build currently is Jewish... Yes, that's needs to be fixed. No worries, it's only built units, so we haven't lost hammers over this.

Here's a look at our civics... it probably looks familiar. We haven't changed them in a long time. Yes, we're still in despotism.
We have not needed Monarchy, and we haven't had time to waste a turn of revolt for something we haven't needed.
Here's a look at our demographics.
The GNP is artificially low, because we're not researching at 100% on that turn (It's actually 350 some now - 2 turns after this). Nevertheless, we're still #1 in GNP, and Food, and we're closing the gap in hammers. Still a tad low on the military, but, do realize the 5 ahead of us are all involved in the great 36hr timer making war. Our 2 non friendly neighbors, Aztec and Inca, are below us in power, and in Aztec's case, have a NAP with us.
Here are the Graphs themselves:
Lastly, here's a look at our "powerful" military in all it's "glory" as well as a couple of random pictures.

BTW: Is it essential that we farm the last FP and those river grass at HV, or can we cottage those? I dono how much excess food is enough.

Those spreadsheets are so much easier. Never post text based things again (cept for workers it'd be ok, but, I think we've reached the point where we can just figure out worker stuff as needed now.)

Thanks for the update. I see that PR can't build a missionary for us because it ... doesn't have Hinduism!
Feng Shui should have no trouble making its 1-turn worker if you follow your plan. It doesn't need the one extra hammer to do it, if my back-of-the-nonexistant-envelope math is right. This might be the best spot to build our next missionary, but I seem to recall Smithsonian wanting to use one to quickly generate lots of whip overflow.
I'm not going to have time to look at Temminck in depth, but I'd start it on a hindu temple while it regrows, working all available cottage-analogs, plus of course the two metal tiles. If that's not enough tiles for its population, it might want to borrow a farm from Feng Shui.
Speaking of Smithsonian: I would like to build a specific microplan for it if I can find the time. If you'd like me to do so, please tell me the following, to help prevent me from making silly errors:
- How many workers can I use for it initially? And for how long (roughly) before some of them are needed elsewhere?
- What's the first turn on which I can decide each worker's actions? (If some are available before the city is founded, that's all the better.)
- On which tiles will those workers be located at that time? (i.e. relative to the site of Smithsonian)
If you already have a plan for the place, don't feel that you have to defer to me. I'm just offering to try to help out if you wish. I realize you won't be able to respond until at least some time tomorrow, so have a great day!
Oh. Pike names: Since they are of course kitties, and they fight with long, sharp things, it might work to give them names from this list of Saber(-toothed )cats.

So for the city to grow 1 pop every turn, we need 5 FPs farmed. Assuming no health problems, the last two fps then pay for themselves even if they're cottages. Grassland farms likewise pay for themselves, but grassland cottages don't.

It's a thousand times easier for me too. Sorry I didn't do this sooner. I want to cover the workers at Smithsonian in depth if I'm building the plan, but that'll be the last time. (I hope.)
Final note on the spreadsheets in case it wasn't obvious: The city sizes listed are the size at turn's end (i.e. after the whip[s] if any). I can change this if you'd like.

I'll post a piccie in a second to help you with Smithsonian, which will be founded when the turn rolls. For the first 1-2 turns, you got 1 worker. But reinforcements are on the way.
You may have 2 of the 5 workers i circled in addition to the one already there. The ones at kilrah obviously need to finish their mine next turn, and road before they could be released. The ones at red dwarf - One needs to finish the FP farm, and another needs to chop a forest. I can be the same worker... ie, one of them is free to head over next turn if you want. The one at the capital needs to finish that farm next turn, then would be free to head up.

Terrific! I'll describe the next couple turns of worker actions for the three workers who will be helping at Smithsonian: The one that's already there (Worker S), the one presently near Fierias (Worker F), and one of the two near Red Dwarf (Worker R). If you tell me their actual names, I'll use those.
Also, if possible, please hold off doing this for a bit. There's actually an alternate plan that STARTS differently right away that I think is a little worse as long as we're in slavery but might be necessary if we switch to Emancipation in the next ~20 turns.
I'm including Smithsonian's builds early on because they're simple, but feel free to ignore them and work from the spreadsheet, which says basically the same thing. (The spreadsheet at one point refers to the unimproved river pigs as a floodplain because the yield is the same.)
Turn 128:
Smithsonian founded in place, builds culture, works plains forest.
New missionary from Fierias WAITS for the city to be founded, then moves to the city and spreads Hinduism.
Worker S roads and CANCELS orders.
Worker F farms; complete.
Worker R moves 1W to a plains tile, roads, and CANCELS orders!
Turn 129:
Smithsonian builds culture, works plains forest.
Worker S roads; complete.
Worker F moves 2N-2NW-1N to a river grassland; farms; CANCELS orders!
Worker R moves 1NW to another plains tile, roads, and CANCELS orders!
