Eh, 80% of the people that are running this don't know what maindeck cards are actually good at winning those matches (sideboard hosers are another matter, but even then we're not perfect evaluators).
I'm either going to play paper discord with a list, or we're just going to get on Zoom and jam a league with it next week.

New set, and while my Paradox Engine Historic deck continues to be nerfed (not that I want to play Historic in the couple of months before half the Mystical Archives get banned and/or they get Pioneer on the client and turn Historic into Arena Legacy), I've found a fun Standard deck to play:
Code: Deck
4 Strict Proctor (STX) 33
4 Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger (THB) 221
3 Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt (IKO) 209
3 Hushbringer (ELD) 18
2 Valki, God of Lies (KHM) 114
3 Showdown of the Skalds (KHM) 229
3 Humiliate (STX) 193
4 Blightstep Pathway (KHM) 252
4 Brightclimb Pathway (ZNR) 259
4 Savai Triome (IKO) 253
4 Needleverge Pathway (ZNR) 263
1 Fabled Passage (M21) 246
2 Fabled Passage (ELD) 244
1 Swamp (STX) 371
3 Mountain (STX) 373
2 Plains (STX) 367
2 Kaya the Inexorable (KHM) 218
2 Rip Apart (STX) 225
2 Silverquill Command (STX) 232
2 Thrilling Discovery (STX) 243
4 Bonecrusher Giant (ELD) 115
1 Vanishing Verse (STX) 244
Mardu removal is a deck I tend to try a lot of, but so many of the removal cards are either efficient, flexible, and/or get you a bunch of value on top of their 1-for-1 (and Showdown gives you a bunch of card draw to keep up with other decks). Strict Proctor is just so good too, beyond just working well with Kroxa (it hoses the lifegain deck, gets rid of free equips from Embercleave and Mace of the Skyclaves, and more). I do wonder about the manabase (as good as Triome+Pathways+Fabled Passage is, it's difficult to support RBW quickly, and RRBBW eventually), and a couple decisions were made to limit my wildcard use (maybe another Vanishing Verse could get in there, and the Cockatrice version of this deck had PVDDR in it). There are other decks I've built (a Lorehold Lesson deck that seemed okay, and a mono-black devotion deck that...didn't), though the specter of Eldraine still sucks.

Ah, the Shandalar AI... The fact that the AI functions at all is impressive, but wow does it have some gaping holes. And the final boss has the worst Magic deck I've ever seen.

Very nice
Wish Arena had EDH

For Shandalar? You have to find the software, it's a mid-90s video game. I made it work a few years ago, but I don't remember how; pretty sure that the old CD (which I have somewhere) isn't naturally compatible with modern systems.
One of my Magic friends' father helped make the game.
