[No Players] Where the Lurkers Take Their Holidays

I've looked at each start area; details below. In general I really like the map; it's bigger and more barren than what's usually played, so doesn't reward spamming close cities as much as usual. There's some unbalance in luxuries; most players get safe access to three, but it varies with how many are early vs late. There's also the contested "oases" which are hard to tell whom gets. (I might have missed something in my summary)

Horses are in BFC, but might be OK

This snake pick is completely insane.

We didn't tell them after all that there are no islands, right? Anyway, Pro's "good before OB and after Merc" still goods up, right?
The interesting part is when it's a pangea with 1 or 2 tiny islands for each player, because then Pro routes are better actually than what you get from foreign routes?

I feel like no islands was implied in Mjmd's list of demands.

Seriously, the criteria has been optimized for making the Most Boring Early Game Possible, I hope everyone enjoys that Agg in a no-rush, no-barb, and no-island setup.

Agg's unit cost saving is really quite nice once army sizes start growing large.

Agreed, but it is a testament to how balanced the traits are that almost everyone picked civ first. There's even some of the lesser played civs like Ottomans in the mix, and nobody picked China despite having the best techs for the start.

True. I think Ljubljana's AGG pick is correct, given he's playing Zulu, and SD was always going to pick AGG of Rome even when it's not correct. I really like Greenline's idea of Cathy of Sumer though, even if this is a map that favors CRE over IMP.

I saw a Krill post and was expecting the map to panned.

Still time for that, I suppose.

Putting in their leader/civ combinations now. Should be uploaded as soon as my slow ass figures out how to do that.

I've usually had to zip the file to get it to attach here, but last I heard attachments were still broken. So just host it from onedrive like the other versions?
