Just to be clear - this means we cannot cancel deals either, unless a 3rd party AI asks us to stop trading with their worst enemies? (or declaring war).

Also, viewing F4 to see what techs AI's have, master-vassal relationships, worst enemies, current deals all OK?

Interesting. Immortal is a tall order for me, but I might give it a shot. Just one thing: I have never, ever had the AI come asking for peace in Civ IV. I've seen screenshots of this occurring, but I've never seen it. I was wondering if it got patched out at some point. Can anyone confirm, or am I just unlucky?

This is a clever idea...lots of the high level game strategies revolve around duping the AI one way AND another smile.

Nice idea. However, in BtS, the AI is incapable of asking the human for peace (unlike previous versions).

Also, I assume we can cancel deals via the menu in F4, right?

Are we allowed to build the Apostolic Palace and/or UN.

If elected (even if we didn't build it), is there any restriction on the resolutions we may put to vote (open border with all, trade embargo, peace or war are specifically the ones that could be consider as having an active diplomacy...)

Even with no diplo, it is not impossible to be elected, I guess victory spaceship is the only way to "win" the Epic, diplo victory is not consider a valid way to "win".

Then again, I have God-like powers, so that should be ok... :D

Seriously though, if it's true that AI cannot ask for peace, then I suppose you either don't get into a war (try at least), or destroy the AI completely?

Ha ha wow and here I am playing on Warlord. Well it'll be a new experience for sure so why not! Not to mention it's on epic which is going to make it a lot harder.

Just use all the micro tricks that you might have picked up from reading some pitboss threads lately.
