According to that, server transfers will cost money, so for Release and Beta's it's probably best to plan ahead. The blog also has server lists. This is an old thread, but I don't know if RB has firm server plans. As of BWE #3, all information save contact lists will be wiped. This means that players and guilds will have a chance to start afresh.
AB will very likely go Quarrel Falls for a variety of reasons. First, we can all fit. As of last BWE, Quarrel Falls went from low to medium population, which meant that we could get everyone on the same server. Second, we were approached by Cosian of The Sentinels about a WvW alliance brokered by Izzy (Isaiah Cartwright) that includes some classic GW1 guilds (Untimely Demise [Err7], War Machine [WM], The Last Pride [EVIL], Knights Templar [KT], etc). This alliance has grown, and while it's primarily North American, there's been a real effort to get more Europeans and Oceanics involved. Recently, the Australian guild Downunder came aboard. Again, a big advantage is that the server wasn't so full that the guild would have to split across servers. If RB hasn't yet committed to a server or discussed alliances, we'd love to see RB on Quarrel Falls. If you folks want to check things out, we're having an Alliance Meet & Greet on the AB TeamSpeak server tonight at 9:30pm Eastern Daylight (GMT-4). Our TS server is ts.theamazonbasin.com. I can't remember if you have to imput a password on TS3, but if so, the password is cl0ud9. The meeting will be sidebarred on IRC (omg! remember IRC lives!!!). The IRC server is WyldRyde, and the channel is quarrel_falls. If you set your nick with your guild tag, that's helpful. Anyway, here's hoping to see you in a couple of days! --ceolstan

And of course, just a short while after I post the above, it turns out that there's no Quarrel Falls in the new server list for BWE #3.
The current favored server is Stormbluff, as none of the known mega-large guilds/alliances are converging on it.
