Please use this thread for turn reports only, after the turn has finished. One post per report, no discussion. Turn reports should also be copied to the Game Thread, unless there already are other posts to the same effect.

We kicked the game off last night with little fanfare while the European portion of our team was dreaming of pub fights and tiki-taka...
Settings info:
As expected. 1300 land tiles suggests ~260 per team which is a lot. However since the mapmaker indicated we all start on the same land mass and that there are many islands we can reasonably expect plenty of conflict as we'll come together on the mainland sooner than that distribution would imply and in theory contest the islands.
After moving the scout and warrior we were left with this. Current tentative plan is for the warrior to move SE and the scout to move NW-NW next turn. First impressions - very green.
All that was left was to found our city on the agreed upon spot. Our theme is things that make us angry. Pitboss 3 was suggested by our intrepid captain for a capital and why not? Other suggestions mooted as city names between the TEAM forum and our chat last night: Losing, Divorce, ISDG 2, PBEM 14, Sommersword, Catwalk. Feel free to chime in with ideas.
And the meaningless demographics, since we played first:
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

People don't spam this forum enough.
We need to re-evaluate second city position.
Next turn either move 7 or 9.
Always check this during every turn. The workforce can be altered after ending turn to hide demographics data.

Not too much going on. Went west with the scout, which leaves us with a lot of options:

I've left our citizen working the plains forest instead of the deer to help hide our yields in the demos screen. So if its not me who plays the next turn be sure to switch the tile back to the deer before you end turn.

More scouting. Moved the Scout to the FGH.
There's Gold in them there hills! I've placed a couple red circles for possible city placements. Just theoretical, but go ahead and give some input.
Warrior:
We need a city on the ocean. Water is going to be huge in this game. Marble and stone are likely on islands. One of these two sites with an early city would be great.

After ending turn I set the tech back to pottery and the tile to the sheep. I also placed a note as a reminder for anyone who plays the turn to set it back before ending the turn next time.
