...for a few hours before the chat server destabilised, started getting better and then the login server went... well it just went really.

I'm holding back at this point. Frankly, I don't have much time to play it right at the moment, but I'm hoping that the big rush will move forward to later areas so I'm not running around overload shards all the time. So far I've only seen one guildie in game when Xyngynkynyn and I was both in the same instance of Divinity's Reach (which was probably a miracle considering the numbers). Once the initial wave rushes deeper in I'm hoping we'll be able to get some party teamwork happening.

I own it at least - although it's dry without cohorts, so haven't played in a bit. Dang servers too, will have to check that out.

I bought the game but haven't played since release. Movement bounded to keyboard was the deal breaker for me.

movement bound to keyboard? You can remap your keys. I use right-click to turn my camera (and walking direction) and use a and d to strafe. I don't use key-board turning at all.
If that is at least what you meant.
