Churchill of Persia. Well, civ is fine; Chm is going to be useless here is my guess, even pb13 easily provides everyone with a copy of each happy resources except maybe whales; Pro feels meh but actually is good. I'll keep - the reroll pool will just have a bunch of Chm leaders and Mysticism civs anyway.

the power of chm is in the beginning of the game, before the luxuries can get traded around. more promos is nothin to sneeze at either. not up there with ORG/AGG, but certainly not useless.

Sure, it's much better than having to trait at all, and having your capital on 8-9 whilst everyone is at 6-7 on turns 50-75 does provide a reasonable permanent boost. The ability to work two food resources and two river cottages constantly, whilst growing/whipping two more cottages in secondary financial cities is also nice. In general I'm not complaining, I'm a bit bored of playing Cre, Exp, Fin, Phi leaders anyway. And Org is just boring even if you don't play it much. I would have liked Agg/smth I guess.

Hmm... Hammurabi is in the re-roll pool, talking of Org/Agg smile

Plako was quite right in that the list of first rolls shouldn't have been public, now people are going to try and work out who will give theirs up, to see whether it's worth giving up theirs. Let's play that game (where I mention thread names it's from memory, I can't actually be bothered to open them up)

First pass:

Suleiman of America -- no reroll
Washington of Arabia -- maybe reroll
Vcky of Aztecs - no reroll
Willem of Babylon -- no reroll (monster)
Sitting Bull of Byzantium -- probably reroll
Alex of Carthage -- no reroll
Hatty of Celts -- no reroll
Qin of China -- no reroll (thread name)
Mehmed of Egypt -- no reroll (pretty great)
HC of England -- no reroll
Mao of Ethiopia -- god knows
Ragnar of France -- no reroll
Kublai of Germany -- no reroll
Catherine of Greeks -- maybe reroll, civ sucks, leader is not too strong
Joao of HRE -- no reroll
Stalin of Inca -- no reroll
Freddy of India -- lurker civ, not sure what happens
Monty of Japan -- not sure, depends on what wetbandit wants to play, for some it would be a clear reroll, for others a clear keeper despite the civ's suckiness
Liz of Khmer -- no reroll
DeGaulle of Korea -- reroll, but MYKI might not care
Saladin of Mali -- keepers (thread title)
Darius of Maya -- no reroll (another monster)
Lincoln of Mongolia -- no reroll (thread title, but even without it, these guys don't cate)
Gandhi of NA -- no reroll (thread title)
Toku of Dutch -- no reroll
Shaka of Ottoman -- maybe reroll if scoots wants more of a challenge
Genghis of Portu -- oh, reroll
Peter of Rome -- probably no reroll, leader is nice
Pericles of Russia -- again, leader good enough to keep the civ. But is Pericles too boring? Not as boring without fast libraries, I guess.
Wang Kon of Spain -- no reroll, Wang is excellent in RBMod
Brennus of Sumer -- no reroll, good civ, Spi is great
Charlie of Vikings -- plako will probably keep, most would have rerolled is my guess
Bismarck of Zulu -- might reroll

Unrolled leaders: Hammurabi, Rameses, Napoleon, Louis, Pacal (goes to Sulla?), Asoka, Gilgamesh, Isabella, both Caesars, Cyrus, Mansa Musa, Suryavarman, Zara Yaqob, Boudica, Hannibal, Justinian, Roosevelt.

Look at all these unclaimed Org's! So, at second pass, all maybes will probably be rerolls; Mao of Ehtiopia, Russia and Rome are also not unthinkable rerolls. Frankly, the ~1/3 chance of getting an Org leader with a choice of civs such as Portu, Greeks, Russia, Rome and Japan doesn't excite. I'm probably past the deadline anyway.

Apologies for such a long post, I had no will to write a short one.

EDIT: Looks like Dtay kept Mao.

I'm largely going to play this one by ear. C'mon, 33 players!

Start:

Commodore made it solidly sure that people don't go wandering. SIP. Camp unlocked at AH, pastures available straight away. Plenty of river tiles -- little damage from not having FIN, at least until settling coast. Starting happy in BFC -- less worth from having CHM. Flood plains in the fog, S of city, another plains hill to the south, but no use scouting there as settling place is certain anyway.

Coasts to the south and to the west, tundra to the north. Scout will move north, find the tundra, and then settle off southwards, perhaps never to return again.

First idea for techs: AH, Wheel, Pottery, Mining, BW. Too late for BW? Perhaps, but RBMod nerfs and a reasonable amount of natural hammers from PH capital, pastured PH sheep and ivory camp make me think it's doable from the economic point of view. From the military POV -- we are Pro with Archery open to research and cheaper in RBMod.

RL stuff. Living across two countries, one of which just decided to engage in 1914-style brinkmanship is something else. At least history will record that as events unfolded, some people continued to play civ in a determined show of international cooperation.

Pic after settling. Not checking demos, I assume everyone has a PH settle or something to compensate.

Change of plans, techs will go Mining -> BW, elephant camp just isn't that exciting. Worker will build two pastures, then a farm on the FP, then a mine on the grass hill, then will start chop a forest into the settler. Going onto hills without Wheel is crap, but what are you going to do. There will be a city on the plains hill in the fog to the south-east, where the river flows into the sea, but no idea whether it will be the first one. With slavery and a chop, first settler should come out within 30 turns. Techwise, I will then go Wheel-Pottery, build some cottages on the river grass tiles, and only then get AH for the camp. I'm CHM, after all, and 7 pop cap at this level is plenty.
