SMEG mod is a new mod-mod based on RtR mod. The philosophy is to increase strategic diversity and choice in Civ 4. It is currently in need of testing, and whilst SP testing is always welcome, there is nothing quite like an MP game to break stuff.
What I envisage is a quick speed, 150 turns in 4 weeks test game. 4 teams of players, each controlling a single civ in a PB game. Play quickly, and don't make micro plans. Standard settings on a small map, randomly rolled and checked, double moves be damned: the game is taken down after 672 hours, victors don't matter, sole aim is to bug hunt and balance test as a community. Some blitz sessions will be required on a week end or two.
So, anyone up for some civ?

How many players per team are you envisioning, Krill? I am guessing the more the merrier (or at least more helpful).
I may not have time for the next month to lead a team, but I can definitely participate.

Well, the point is to get a much faster than a turn a day pace. You see a turn needs playing? Play it. This isn't a normal game.

4 civs total in game. No AI. I'm fairly sure that the AI is going to be totally crippled in this mod.
