Remember, bodies, and even Town Portals, can be found where you'd least expect them to be. Travel with caution!

What can a mere human do to remain safe in these uncertain times? Remember, the drow do not have their full power when on the surface, especially in the desert. Don't let them lure you into a trap that they have set up underground. If you can, try to lure the drow out into the direct sunlight, where he will be at a disadvantage. Drow have been known to sweat profusely, and can sometimes be blinded by the intense sunlight. They can become disoriented, and dehydrated, very easily in desert conditions.

Not only do drow need to drink excessively while in the desert, but their items begin to lose their magical qualities. Sometimes, the adventuring gear of the drow will literally be destroyed by the sun, or will take on an ethereal quality.

But, be warned! The drow are more aware of these limitations than you are, and know many tricks to stay out of the sunlight. Some say that the Tainted Sun Altar is actually the work of drow...
